Love This Game So Much!
I love this game. No doubt about it. Everything from the gameplay to the sharks is awesome, but there’s a few things I’d love to see if a future quality-of-life update ever happens:
1. Fix Blood Bath
In older versions of the game, enabling Blood Bath made the game a lot bloodier. Nowadays, it’s broken and doesn’t working. It’d be awesome to see it working properly again.
2. “Nostalgia” Toggle
This is just my opinion, but I know there are people who prefer the older versions of the game. I think it’d be really cool if to have an optional toggle that gives the game its classic look back.
This could include the old backgrounds, classic shark models (while keeping newer sharks in the style that matches the old game), the original Shark Info button, and the old Special Sharks tab/selection screen. It’d also be neat if Titan Sharks and Demon Sharks each had a classic-style selection screen.
3. Bring Back the Title Screen
Hungry Shark World has this, and Hungry Shark Evolution used to have it until it was removed. I’d love to see the screen again with the “Play” and the old “Evolve” button like it had originally.
4. Grammar Fixes
I don’t mean to be THAT guy, but I noticed a few grammatical errors (most of which are places where capital lettering should be):
- Shark Vortex says “pulls in enemies” instead of “Pulls in enemies”
- Sharknarok’s species is listed as “(sea serpent)” instead of “(Sea Serpent)”
- The Demon Shark’s species says “(Unknown origin)” instead of “(Unknown Origin)”
- The Parasite item description says “These tentacles absorb demoniac damage for a while” instead of “These tentacles absorb demonic damage for a while
5. Bring Back the Slow-Mo Burst
I’m not sure if HS World still has this, but I remember the game briefly zooming in on your shark and slows down whenever you breach out of the water and eat something. I think it should be added back, but a bit more rare so that it’s not happening constantly (like World).
6. More Evolutions
Maybe not in this update, but I’d love to see more evolutions for sharks, especially so more early-game ones like Great White.
7. This one’s subtle, but I notice it every time:
- Kraken and Baby Kraken’s tentacles seem to clip through each other a bit
- Natasha The Narwhal’s head doesn’t move like her tail, which makes her feel more robotic
8. More Titan Abilities
Again, doesn’t have to be a part of this update, but right now, Spicy Munch and Parasite are the only things Titan Sharks can use. I’d love to see what others will be added over time. As for the current ones, I think Spicy Munch should last just a bit longer.
Overall, though, I absolutely love this game, and I can’t wait to see what gets added next. Hopefully someone on the team gets a chance to see these ideas, and maybe someone will be worth considering in future updates. Keep up the good work!
