The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has retired the Hunt Wild Mobile Application as of June 29, 2023. The Hunt Wild Mobile Application is no longer being supported. The information and regulations you find here may be outdated and should not be relied on. Instead, hunters should consult the Wisconsin DNR’s hunting webpage for current hunting regulations and resources.

While the app can be useful, it’s an awe full user experience. I can never stay logged in. If I’d like to see my liscenses and then register a harvest, I have to log in twice.

Exactly what I needed

Very simple to use. Gives me exactly what I needed; was looking for a free app that showed public hunting land in Wisconsin and this does the trick. Only thing I would add as an update would be to show where the entrances are on the public lands. I had to look at the maps myself to find them.

Cannot log in

I reset my password and I can log in with an internet browser, but I can’t log in via the app.

Latest update 2.10 is garbage

Performance is glitchy. Zoom out on map to find public land go to zoom in and boots you to current location. Cannot switch between layers and keep same property in view again boots you back to current location. Does not save waypoints. The egghead that created this update needs to get back at the drawing board

New version doesn’t work

I use this app for hunting and it has been great. Now the new version is terrible. On my iPhone X the map refreshes every few seconds, and if you are zoomed in it bounces back out to the entire state map. It is basically unusable now. Don’t waste your time until they fix it!!
