Might change price of app next year.
Some information takes way too long to be updated and when I bought this app it was $.99 and was not supposed to be a yearly charge now it’s $1.99 every year always curious what will be the new thing they change after we’ve already had an agreement on price.
Not getting what I paid for
Unable to access Deer Hunt and won’t let me renew until 6 October 22. Not getting access for what I paid for already. I email but no response.
Charging for information
I love this app I purchased it years ago just to have the information on my phone. I only give one star because they are charging to view deer zones. I purchased the app it wasn’t free and now they charging for deer zones. It’s only 1.99 but I feel like I’m being ripped off because I already purchased the app.

Needs attention
I have found two occurrences where the deer zone dates listed in this app do not match the 2016 regulation book dates.
This is a serious problem, anyone using this app needs to verify data is correct.
On the up side, it is a great idea, navigating the regulation book is never quick and easy.
Please fix this.

On occasion I have published data that contained a typo. In no case was anyone in danger of getting in any kind of trouble as the error typically showed a season ending before it actually ended or an incorrect bag limit that was corrected before the season started. All typos were corrected as soon as they were brought to my attention. It is not a “serious problem”, but yes, all data should be verified. I recommend that for any third party app.

The author is very diligent about keeping this app up to date with current information. When the state workers get off their duffs and get the correct information posted, he's quick to get a new version to the App Store. Thanks for the hard work!

I stumbled across this app, and having used it for a few weeks, wanted to review it. I almost didn't buy it with no reviews. I'm so glad I did. Keep up with the updates, and it works great. Way easier than searching for the info of CDFW's website. Well worth the money.
Great but....
Great app overall. Normally navigating CA laws, seasons and zones with DF&G publications is a confusing and time consuming process. This app makes it very simple and easy to do. The integrated maps for zones is a huge plus. However it is 8/25/15 and many seasons have not been updated from 2014 yet, including dove season that starts next week. If the information in this app continues to be outdated it will be worthless and possibly be setting hunters up to unknowingly poach and/or violate other new and updated regulations. Information is no good if it cannot be trusted. If the developers can get on top of updates this app would be 5 star gold worth more than $1.99.

Easy to navigate
Love how easy it is to look regs up. Can look any reg up in a couple of minutes or less as compared to twenty min on the Internet. Worth the money. Comes in handy in the field.

This app is extremely handy and much easier to find information on than the dfg website. I hope the developer continues to update it every season as it it very useful. Well worth the $2!
2013 bear info
It would be nice if you guys could update the bear info, it currently states that the 2013 bear season is now closed. It has nothing in regards too the 2014 bear season. Aside from that... AWESOME APP!

Great app if you don't have access to internet in the field
Simplified and in your pocket, handy when in a debate over regs, but information within this app can be accessed online as well, the maps are a big plus though, 1.99$ may be a bit much

If you hunt California this App is a "Must." Best hunting App I have seen yet. Tuns of "Accurate" information at your fingertips without getting lost on the DFG sight. I highly recommend this App to expert and amateur hunters...
