Very Useful App

I really love this app! Used it during the spring turkey season and was very impressed! What you can find today feature - is the real winner! Gives me the confidence about seasons and regulations when I’m in the field. I recommend it to every hunter!

Thank you for the feedback. Hunterizer is free to download, but requires a subscription to access hunting regulations, zones, and daily huntability tools. Apple requires subscription-based apps to be listed as free. We're adding clearer messaging and improving our onboarding so this is communicated up front.

I needed this app!

It's a really nice app for a hunter. Everything you need to know about open seasons and regulations, so that I don't need to look into official pdfs. It also includes a lot of game species. Recommended!

Very Useful!

I went to hunt mule deer in Montana. But Hunterizer gave me the list of all the other species in season that I can also hunt - quite a big list! So before getting a deer I also got couple of grouse and a rabbit. Pretty nice outline of regulations, limits and weapons. Great app for every hunter!

All key data in one place

Convenient app that gives you all most important data about hunting seasons and regulations in one place, easy to find. Hope the future versions will have a map. Contacts of active guides would be great too

Love this app

This Hunterizer app is pretty good! Gives me all the season dates for California - great to have it all here. I don’t know I can hunt so many species! I wish CDFW made this available for everyone for free. Hunterizer did a great job. Every hunter should have it!

Highly recommended!

I really like the Hunterizer app! It has all the game species for my hunting state of California. And has all the details for each species - I learnt that I can use an air rifle for hunting turkey this season! Highly recommended for every hunter!

Thanks for your feedback! We - Hunterizer cofounders - are also CA hunters, and before we made the app we had no idea about air rifles being a choice for turkey hunting! So we learn a lot from our own app!

Scam alert

Download this app and signed up for the free trial and then $14 annual subscription. They charged my card $19 right off the bat and then realized the app doesn’t include my state. They literally only have a had full of states available. Make sure you check their state list before and planned to be charge right away and charged more than advertised.

Hi — thanks for sharing your experience. We’d like to clarify a couple of important points for anyone reading this. Hunterizer does not have a $19 charge, and developers cannot charge users directly. All subscriptions and payments are handled entirely by Apple. Our annual subscription is $14.99 after a 7-day free trial, and Apple does not charge anything on the day of install. We’ve reviewed our App Store sales records and confirmed that no charge associated with Hunterizer occurred at the time mentioned. Charges like the one described are most often from a different app, a pending Apple authorization, or another subscription tied to the same Apple ID. Apple Support can identify the source of any charge at https://reportaproblem.apple.com . Regarding availability: supported states are clearly listed on the App Store before download, and we’re actively expanding coverage. We’re sorry for the confusion and appreciate the feedback as we continue to improve transparency and coverage. P.S. Just wanted to add one more thing: once we received an email from the user, we immediately contacted him via email: provided the above explanation and sent him the proof that Hunterizer didn't charge his card. The user has never responded. This is purely user error, and certainly not "scam".

Lets me know what’s huntable today

Great, no more guessing required. This app tells me exactly what’s huntable in my state. I often take my shotgun alongside when deer hunting, so this is super useful info!

Awesome addition to my hunting toolkit!

Finally, someone has done it: show exactly what’s huntable on a given day! I didn’t know so many species were in season! Got a skunk on my last trip to Stanislaus nat forest, thanks to this app. Not for food, obviously, but saved a few dozen turkeys this way! One suggestion to developers: please start showing hunting zones as well.

Must have for every hunter!

Very slick design and great functionality! Every hunter must have it to check the season dates. I didn’t know if I can use an air rifle for hunting quail. Now I do. Thanks Hunterizer!
