Map layers won’t work
Great app, but the map layers stopped working
The app needs updated
I am writing this on October 11 2025 the version 1.3.5 still has last years out of state prices and doesn’t show the increase.

Hunting regulations are still posted for last year. I found the updated 25-26 regulations on your website, but the app should have the relevant information too.
UPDATE!
App is fairly easy to use, and incredibly convenient. However, it needs to be updated. As I write this on July 30th, 2025, the Ohio archery deer season is less than two months away. Ohio changed their hunting regulations this year, and the season dates vary every year. This information has yet to be made available in the form of an app update. You can still buy licenses and permits.

Informative but needs updated
The app makes it easy to get all the licenses and such that you would ever need. Also has critical information to stay legal while hunting and fishing. As of June 5 the app still doesn’t have the upcoming fall 2025 seasons in it along with any changes made to regulations.
Pretty poor
Had to download the app to get a fishing license. An hour later, I think I might have one. In the app I filled out the same information a couple of times in a wild assortment of drop down menus, spinners, I am not a robot, etc. Got an email with a link telling me to go online, but that didn’t work. Second email that arrived had a link where I filled out the information again multiple times and was able to print a paper copy. Wild ride to give the state 25 bucks.

Good app, has a couple small bugs, much more potential, pretty accurate!

Please please please please please add topographical maps to main/public Ohio lakes in the map function of this app! I love the odnr website map and it’s very useful, but not mobile friendly. This could be a huge opportunity to make an update to your app. It would be awesome to also add important details to certain lakes and also spread awareness notes about endangered species, limits, etc.!

Great App
So easy. Had my fishing license in minutes. Wish all apps were this good.

Trying to update my profile with my middle name. App will not show the keyboard to type in my name.
Not Displaying recently purchased license.
I just purchased a fishing license, and it is not displaying my new license under current.

What happened to the contour lines on all the lakes?
What happened to the contour lines on all the lakes? They’ve been gone for a couple of weeks, at least; all that shows now is green lake areas on yellow-green park areas.

Freaking awesome simple lay out but access to everything hunting/fishing in Ohio! Could be really awesome if they add like gun/bow season calendar maybe a map with pictures of areas to hunt or pictures of your hunt/fish.
Privacy
I don’t recall having to provide my ssn to purchase a fishing license. I’ve always used my DL. I’ll pass.
Great app overall
Im having issues though. I formally owned a Non-Resident license, and that license expired. I just moved back to Ohio, but now the app won’t let me change my drivers license.
Great modernization for Ohio outdoorsman
I like everything I do to be digital. I just found out about this app, how handy! It’s great being able to purchase, view and use all your licenses on one handy app. Nice!
App won’t open after update
