Nope
New login required. No campsite reservations. Uninstalled, I’ll pay my theft for permission to fish the old fashioned way.
Update version 2
The new update like so many apps is a step in the wrong direction. It overall feels more clunky, slower, and now I need yet another new sign in. It seems as the campsite reservations have been removed too. It works, just not as well as it used to.
Update?
Why do you call it an update when you remove the ability to book a campsite?
Camping
Where do I get camping reservations, not happy, usually an update gives you more convenience, this one gives me less, leave it to the government to screw something up
Bad update
The site it directs you to won’t allow you to login and if you do you are unable to view your permits. Absolutely unacceptable
Camping??
Why take away the camp reservations? Your hunters and anglers camp too. It was really helpful to have it all in one app. It’s also slow and just sends you to websites. And it needs to be proofread again. 🤦🏻♀️
Really rough since the new update
Takes a long time to load, most of the functionality links out to web pages anyway, and there’s even some spelling errors sprinkled in. My game check history and current licenses/permits simply do not load in the app either.
This version is horrible
The old version had camping reservations and everything. This one is only concern with hunting only. Why change a great app I will never understand. Please add camping reservations back to this.
I enjoy the app but…
We’re half way through July and none of the seasons for 2026/27 are updated yet. Whoever is running this app needs to get on top of updating dates and regulations
Map layers won’t work
Great app, but the map layers stopped working
The app needs updated
I am writing this on October 11 2025 the version 1.3.5 still has last years out of state prices and doesn’t show the increase.
Overstepped your bounds…
App has become too obtrusive.
Need an update!
Hunting regulations are still posted for last year. I found the updated 25-26 regulations on your website, but the app should have the relevant information too.
UPDATE!
App is fairly easy to use, and incredibly convenient. However, it needs to be updated. As I write this on July 30th, 2025, the Ohio archery deer season is less than two months away. Ohio changed their hunting regulations this year, and the season dates vary every year. This information has yet to be made available in the form of an app update. You can still buy licenses and permits.

Informative but needs updated
The app makes it easy to get all the licenses and such that you would ever need. Also has critical information to stay legal while hunting and fishing. As of June 5 the app still doesn’t have the upcoming fall 2025 seasons in it along with any changes made to regulations.
Pretty poor
Had to download the app to get a fishing license. An hour later, I think I might have one. In the app I filled out the same information a couple of times in a wild assortment of drop down menus, spinners, I am not a robot, etc. Got an email with a link telling me to go online, but that didn’t work. Second email that arrived had a link where I filled out the information again multiple times and was able to print a paper copy. Wild ride to give the state 25 bucks.

Good but plenty of potential
Good app, has a couple small bugs, much more potential, pretty accurate!
ADD TOPOS!!!!!!
Please please please please please add topographical maps to main/public Ohio lakes in the map function of this app! I love the odnr website map and it’s very useful, but not mobile friendly. This could be a huge opportunity to make an update to your app. It would be awesome to also add important details to certain lakes and also spread awareness notes about endangered species, limits, etc.!

Great App
So easy. Had my fishing license in minutes. Wish all apps were this good.
Update Profile
Trying to update my profile with my middle name. App will not show the keyboard to type in my name.
