Great Concept With Major Flaws
Paid for this app to use on a trivia/scavenger hunt. Lots of robust features, but not fully baked. It worked for basic stuff. But the flaws, sadly outweigh the positives. (1) Video submissions cannot be viewed in order to be approved (only photos can). So, as a host if you want to approve a video to award points from the host app, you can’t. (2) The “make clue/challenge available at a specific time” function doesn’t work at all. I had surprise “pop up” clues planned, but when players logged in, they were all sitting there visible. (3) The app UI is not intuitive. The leaderboard and timeline feed are behind a hamburger menu so my players didn’t even know about them until I pointed them out halfway through. (4) There is no way (that I have found as of the date/time of writing this) to be able to download video/photo submissions - which sucks, because those are the memories you’d want to be able to save after the hunt. (5) No “manual” or “knowledge base” to reference. While the backend for creation is relatively clear, you are ultimately guessing and trial-and-error’ing to understand full functionality. /// I hope the developer fixes these issues and gets a UI specialist to make it better.
