What's New in hupser

0.5.1

October 21, 2026

• Save rides to Apple Health: turn it on in Settings › Integrations › Apple Health and each ride you finish is saved as an indoor cycling workout with heart rate, power, cadence and active energy. hupser only writes to Apple Health and never reads from it. • New Hills settings shape what your trainer feels with ERG off: how steep climbs and downhills feel, and the steepest climb. Find them under Shifting difficulty in Settings › Account. • The Ramp test gets 6% of your FTP harder every minute up to 296%, ends when you stop pedalling and goes straight to the cool-down. • Older Tacx smart trainers (Vortex, Bushido and Flux on older firmware) now work over Bluetooth. • hupser picks the best source for power and cadence, and readings no longer flip back and forth when a sensor drops out. • The workout library now imports .erg, .mrc and Garmin/TrainingPeaks .fit workouts as well as .zwo, and the workout editor can add messages that show on screen at a set time during the ride. • New course: EC Slovenia 2026 – Možjanca, the 22 km European Championship lap near Kranj, with a course picker before you ride. • On iPhone, the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show your ride: time ridden and time left, power, heart rate, cadence and the current step. • Interval alerts count down 3, 2, 1 before an interval ends. Interval alerts, shifting and intensity changes no longer vibrate the phone. • Connect Discord in Settings › Integrations to show your W/kg on your Discord profile. • Ride with others is now on by default and saved with your account; turn it off in Settings › Training. • Rides that didn't reach Intervals.icu are retried while hupser is open, and a ride you mark as real goes to Intervals.icu and Apple Health too. • Changing your trainer while a ride connects is quicker, and the power card shows your zone in a coloured chip. • Submit feedback can include diagnostics: your paired devices and recent trainer events, with personal details removed.
