App used to be great, but you broke it with the absolutely terrible UI redesign.
What have you done?
The user interface is now terrible! Multiple colors, multiple selections, etc. all are terrible. I don’t mind paying for more features but to access everything is more complicated than before. Who did your UI/UX evaluation?
Sonic the hedgehog threw up new UI
Great app before they changed the cosmetic ui for this app. Sometimes less if more. Know all I see is Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Dart and the rest of the Sonic gang telling me a storm forecast.
Too busy, looks like I am going to a rave and my head hurts. Please change UI to be simpler, or at least give us an option to the older version aesthetic.

The app has worked great for years. Now if you don’t pay the features that were available for years now don’t work. Bye

Update 8/2026, the issues with premium login appear to be fixed, hoping it remains this way, thank you devs.

Been using this app for years, been premium at least 2-3. Have used for guidance riding out several major hurricanes, and no single source has been more helpful. I would rate 5* if not for this:
The new issue of not keeping premium users logged in—this is going to be problematic as the season picks up. We used to be able to hit enter, not re-enter UN/PW every time. The 30 day remember device doesn't work consistently, it's not my device, I checked. I understand the note about API constraints, honestly this is the only app I've ever had require me to log into premium every. Single. Time.
Devs—please fix this. Some of us did stay last year despite the inactive season, and to have what we've paid for feel like a downgrade just isn't cool.
Overall an incredible source, but if this isn't fixed I won't renew.

I love this app. I wouldn’t trust any other hurricane app. I’ve used this app for years and it’s never let me down. I stay on top of every storm out there.
You went from Hero to Zero in a few short years
I absolutely hate your "upgrades". I am a premium member who will no longer be a CUSTOMER.

I’ve been using this for years I live in Florida Keys and I have been able to only in 20 years of living there Have one hurricane come directly over my house, which was hurricane Irma in 2017 it was the only hurricane that did any damage to my property It’s the only hurricane that I ever left the Keys for knowing how bad it was going to be. I use the tracker. I did not listen to Weather Man. He was the national Weather. Bureau doesn’t track as well. Love the app.

needs additions
its 2026 so you need to add face ID. Why cant I choose to stay logged in.
Paywall even for old users/subscribers
I got this app many years ago and paid for the upgraded features. Now they have a premium paywall, and they want you to pay more. I feel like the old users should have been grandfathered in.
Getting greedy
The basic service is pretty useless. After many years of using this app I’m deleting it, National Hurricane Center for me now.

Poor service
Even with a subscription, you must log in every time. Something about the App’s redesign makes it no longer useful. I will cancel the subscription and delete the worthless app.
Great Info - User Interface Needs Work
This is a really useful app for those that live in hurricane zones. My issue is the design of the app. Too much going on…need to bring the app into modern times. Hide things in menus, use better more clear tab options, so many other things that could make this better visually. Will continue to use but will never be 5 star worthy until it has a better look and feel.

Love this app
The Hurricane tracker is a great app with lots of details. If you love to learn about weather and hurricanes this is the app to have. I have used it for years and have learned a great deal. I would highly recommend.
Used to be good
I used to love this app, but cannot stand how you need to log in every time. Wouldn’t be a big deal if the username and password you know is correct would actually work. I emailed them to cancel my membership. It’s not worth the stress.
