It was doing well before now after the update can’t even upload any images without it being taken down for no reason. They need to fix this soon.
App has been over run by bots and scammers
It used to be tolerable but now, now it’s a wasteland of bots flooding the feed with propaganda posts. There’s been no action by the devs to find any solution. If it continues the way it is, it will just be bots posting to each other.

i like this app and being able to express myself anonymously, but it glitches A LOT and makes my phone heat up.
Needs a lot of work
What an absolute shocker in terms of performance. This app will destroy your battery because it’s so CPU intensive. It literally makes my phone too hot to touch after maybe an hour.

Lots of Glitches
This app worked great in the beginning. However, recently it’s been crashing a lot and it takes a while for your post to be posted. New messages disappears and old messages from 6 months ago pops up no matter how many times you delete it.
Badly run
They don’t get rid of the spam bots and scammers no matter how many times you report their posts. They have no button to report underage users either. They also have no button to block people. Anyone who says otherwise is just not paying attention. People post nudity by scribbling a line on the photo in order to bypass the algorithm. So now people are just being plain gross. And there is no button to report excessively gross behavior because they labeled it as “NSFW” to bypass the other algorithm. Messaging is hyper glitchy. Probably 30-50% of the time messages will not be received or go thru. Doesn’t seem like there is any moderation whatsoever- like the app is run by just one corrupt person sponging as much ad revenue as they can

Too buggy, there are alternatives
So, the app (like a lot of others) was built to replace Whisper, which closed down. But this one was built so poorly, probably with AI code or something, and the devs don’t know how to fix ANY of the bugs. So the bugs are getting worse and worse by the week. Before you download it anyway, let me save you the time and explain just some of the bugs. 1) Your dms tab doesn’t update properly. It will show what it should have shown 30 seconds ago or 2 minutes ago or 10 minutes ago. You’ll refresh and see you have new dms, go into a chat and respond to one of them, then go back out and suddenly your dms have reverted back to how they were a few minutes ago? and you can’t see any of the new chats until the app randomly decides to show you the up-to-date list. But that’ll only happen for a short time before it goes back in time again. So just checking your dms is frustrating. but that’s not all. 2) The app sends messages on your behalf. Messages that you sent several minutes ago, the app will RESEND THEM SPONTANEOUSLY which is so bizarre and frustrating, and sometimes even embarrassing. Mostly it’s just a random resend of a unique message so it was obviously a bug, but sometimes it will resend “oh that’s cool!” to something you absolutely DID NOT want to say that to. This is now happening several times in just a short conversation, and it was my final straw for this app. The list of bugs is VERY LONG and i’m resisting the urge to talk about even more of them. there are a handful of other apps that are also meant to be like the old Whisper app, so go find one of those. i’ve tried a couple today and, despite them not being perfect, they are at least useable. truly, i have never called an app “unusable” unless i was exaggerating, but i’m not exaggerating this time. oh, and there’s ads every 1-2 minutes, so get used to that on top of all the bugs. it’s probably because they know the app will die from all the bugs so they’re just trying to suck up as much ad revenue as possible before it does.

As others have said, the app is saturated with bugs, scammer, spam bots and p3dos. There is no moderation. You can report posts all day long and it slows down nothing. And guess what? It’s like that by design. They give you the illusion that there are tools in place to help control all the BS I listed but it’s smoke and mirrors. The more “users” they have in their base, the more they can charge for advertising. That’s it. That’s the whole actual purpose of this app. Just like everything else in this timeline we live in, it’s fake, acidic, only exists to make money and is unhealthy for those of us without money.

I would rate ZERO stars is possible
This app is nothing but filth and there seems to be no moderators at all. There’s pedos openly talking about kids…. Disgusting
If you complain about pedos, you’re banned
If you complain about pedos, they ban you. Meanwhile predators can repeatedly post pictures of kids in suggestive clothing and positions and saying the age of consent should be 10. They also constantly post creepy pics of little girls surrounded by black men.

It takes a long time to refresh, the notification that someone replied comes but when you open the app u have to wait 10 minutes to see the message/reply. Full of bots
Terrible app
For an app full of glitches and UI issues, it sure likes showing ads a lot. To the point the app is almost unusable. And the app data is retained after deleting the app, leading to potential privacy updates. Prior to their big revamp, the only way to access your data and chats after deleting and reinstalling the app was to use a recovery key. Everything is retained on the device now even after deleting the app and reinstalling which is a major problem.

Can’t use the app to leave feedback
So many little quirks that are wrong with it or needs adjusting. Also when you try, the help page, even on here, results with a bad link so, hey, I guess people will just be frustrated trying to navigate on the app. Even blocking people is a conundrum. Parameters on the persons name prevent the option for the 3 dots to be seen to block, report or whatever. Maybe the person did it on purpose knowing that people can’t block them.
