Bring the layouts your fingers know to iPad and iPhone. HusKyBoard supports a wide range of input methods, from two-set and three-set Korean layouts to chorded input and English stenography. Adjust key placement, key sizes, themes, and input behavior to suit the way you type. You can also use your selected layouts with an external keyboard in the app’s notes editor and keyboard test screen. Supported Layouts · Standard Dubeolsik, Dubeolsik Dugeobi, and Dubeolsik chorded input · Sebeolsik 3-90 and Sebeolsik Final (3-91) · Sebeolsik Chorded e (Semoe) 2018 · Sinsebeolsik P2 · English layouts including QWERTY, Dvorak, Colemak, and Stenotype Split Keyboard Support · Use a split keyboard on iPad. · Place two fingers on the space bar and spread them apart to split the keyboard. Three Keyboard Design Options · Familiar Layout: Designed for users accustomed to the standard iPad keyboard. · Full-Size Keys: Brings the dimensions of a physical keyboard to iPad. · All Keys Visible: Uses a standard ANSI layout to keep all keys visible, regardless of screen size. · Three additional layouts for iPhone and the iPad floating keyboard: an iPhone-style layout, a uniform 11-column grid, and a grid with the Backspace key on the bottom row. · Keyboard height settings are saved separately for landscape and portrait orientations. VIA-Style Key Customization · Customize your keys with a VIA-style layout editor. · Save up to 20 custom layouts for different uses. · Assign keys to the Base, Shift, Fn, Option, and custom layers. · Customize key assignments on every layer. · For Korean layouts, configure combination rules, composition timeout, extended symbol layers, and vowel/final consonant Shift behavior separately for each layout. · Add custom abbreviations to Semoe layouts. Keyboard Themes · Personalize your keyboard with three built-in themes and five custom theme slots. · Adjust the keyboard background, key backgrounds, borders, shadows, and key label colors and font weights independently. · Assign different background colors to initial consonant, vowel, and final consonant keys to help you learn three-set Korean layouts. · Choose a light or dark appearance for each theme, or have it follow your system settings. External Keyboard Support · Use your custom layouts with an external keyboard in the app’s notes editor and keyboard test screen. · Three-set Korean input is also supported. Use Caps Lock to switch between Korean and English, Control (Ctrl) to toggle between chorded and sequential input, Option (Alt) to access the Option layer, and Option (Alt) + Backspace to delete by word. Notes with Markdown Support · Save notes as .md files in a folder of your choice, including folders in iCloud Drive. · Markdown syntax is automatically highlighted as you edit. · Customize the styling of individual Markdown elements. Fine-Tune Your Typing Experience · Set different layouts for landscape and portrait orientations. · Switch between chorded and sequential input as you type on supported layouts. · Adjust the composition timeout to match your typing speed. · Choose how text is deleted: by character, in mixed mode, or by individual Korean letter (jamo). · Change settings and try them immediately on the keyboard test screen. · Fine-tune key repeat speed, layer hold duration, key label size, number row visibility, and bottom row configuration. · Export and import custom layout files to back up and share your layouts. · Use two English stenography layouts and import Plover-format JSON dictionaries. Once a dictionary is added, steno strokes can be translated into words.
