Juvenile software
I don’t understand how an actual company can release this total garbage and call it software. Impossible to configure. Regularly forgets settings. Strongly suggest you spend another $500 on your development team and get someone over the age of 11 to develop it. You should be ashamed of yourself and the garbage you are putting out and calling software.

Horrible App
This is one of the worst apps. It’s full of bugs and basically useless. You would think that HUUM would be able to spend a little bit of time figuring out to make use of this with a thousand $ sauna.
This app needs a lot of work
The temperature will not adjust from the app. Sometimes the app won’t even turn the heater on. For such an expensive heater they need have an app that works.

Every time I set it up it will not stay in the English language. I reached out to their support and they never responded.
No longer works on iPhone with latest IOS
App is basic but functional - delays on light just take getting used to but I can no longer use the remote function as the latest iOS doesn’t seem to work with it
Not reliable
The app doesn’t work reliably. The latest update won’t even open.
What’s the point!?
I used to be able to set my heater to start automatically. As of Feb 2026 that feature no longer works, but the button to start automatically is still there. Why even out it there if it’s disabled? No one has responded to my emails to advise. I’m waking up at 4 am every day to turn on a heater that I specifically purchased bc of the app remote auto start. Bring it back!

HUUM App Works
This is an app that works. You can turn on Sauna and light and manage temperature from anywhere. Its got a slight delay of about 4-5 seconds when you operate LED lights but no big issue - really don't get the Low rating must be tactical from a competitor

Very disappointing the app no longer controls the sauna to allow you to set upcoming events. Would be nice to see this issue get resolved.
Constantly disables remote start
The app with randomly and with seemingly no explanation disables remote start. My only recourse is to go to the controller and totally re-set it which is a huge pain. To make this worse, it will still allow you to schedule, but will then fail at the scheduled time. Please please fix this wifi controller cost was not cheap :(

Dissapointing
Cannot even get the most basic things right like connect to the internet or turn your sauna on.
Poor app, worse update
The app was mediocre but served its purpose to allow remote start and scheduling start times. After the update in early February much functionality disappeared. The temp scroll no longer works and you can’t toggle the switch to “ turn on sauna automatically “ when you schedule. An exoensive investment with little to no app functionality.

Pointless app
I can no longer change temperature through app. Randomly shuts off sauna while pre-heating. Just not well executed for an expensive heater.
What happened to the timer??
This app has never been the best, but this newest update made it even worse. I have always used the timer function so that the heater will automatically start running at a certain time so it’s ready when I need it. That is no longer working. No matter what time I try and set it for, it always reverts to 23:30 hours.

Instability
This app is extremely simple, yet it behaves unpredictably. I have been using it for about a year now. Sometimes it works perfectly, and other times it just stops for no apparent reason. The heating turns off even though nothing was changed. The instability is frustrating and makes it hard to rely on. 2 / 5

Terrible App
First time reviewing an app here so that’s how bad the OS of this App. I’ve had my sauna for over a year and there is no excuse for shipping a product this bad for a premium sauna. It cannot set times, you cannot adjust the clock in the settings and it’s awful for scheduling your session ahead of time. So be prepared to hit the button and wait for your sauna to heat up. Wild times.

App is VERY finicky
Apparently the last app “update” messed something up, we can’t control temp from app anymore, and the control on sauna is basically unusable because you can’t read the tiny poorly lit digital display….a new controller is something like $1700? Stop updating apps and only making them WORSE!
Notifications not working on iPhone 17
Recently updated to a new phone. No longer able to receive notifications. I’ve tried all the options. Emailed Huum. Standing by for a hopeful fix. Otherwise works great.
Stopped working
App just stopped letting me adjust temperature and schedule heat up times. Stopped working for both my husband and I on different phones. Customer service was useless and no troubleshooting helped fix it, horrible app!
