Awful update
I had no issues with the previous version. The scheduling feature on this update is terrible. You also can’t just start the sauna and put it on a timer to auto shutoff.

Terrible app - do not buy HUUM
This app is terrible. Problems with starting or stopping - wifi connection problems, was just kicked out of the app and I can’t log back in. I work in IT - I know this is not a me problem. I have been in contact with the developers and they cannot provide a stable solution. Continued problems. I’m getting a different wifi controller app to connect because this one just doesn’t work. Very disappointed.

HUUM improved
The old app was ok but had significant time lag when using due to the server they were using. They have obviously spent alot of money investing in a cloud server as it now instant and far far more reliable. If the door is open it tells you clear as day. HUUM has definitely upped their game I love it. I could not imaging sauna use without an app it would be very inconvenient I can sit watching good series and see when my sauna is ready without leaving the sofa to go into the garden and 30 m walk to my outdoor spa area - well done HUUM

Update is awful!
I absolutely loved my HUUM sauna and the app used to be a huge part of that experience. It was simple, useful and the temperature graph was one of my favourite features — being able to watch the sauna heat up and see the temperature curve over the course of a session was genuinely useful.
Unfortunately, the latest app update has completely let the product down. Great features seem to have disappeared, the temperature graph is nowhere to be found, and even after ending a session I couldn’t see the session recorded or access the information I used to enjoy.
The new interface also seems far too focused on bookings and venue-style functionality. Even in private mode, it still feels like I’m using a booking application rather than an app designed for someone simply controlling and enjoying their own sauna at home.
This is such a shame because the underlying HUUM product is excellent and I was genuinely delighted with it before this update. Instead of improving the experience, the new app feels like a significant step backwards. Please bring back the simple private-user experience and, above all, the temperature graph.

Uku control
Each time I confirm safety from the uku control to operate remotely I am unable to. I can’t use operate remotely
Broken app
No longer able to activate remotely and even though I have allowed the use on the panel the app continuously stops working with error saying remote control disabled
Bricked my Wifi
I can no longer turn on my sauna through Wifi. The app Says “Long Press to start” but it will constantly click off. Be warned and do NOT install this update.
Scheduling issues
When scheduling weekly morning sessions it doesn’t allow me to unselect Sunday. Also, when trying to turn it off during a scheduled section, it said no booking existed and then deleted all of my scheduled sessions for the future.
From worst to bad
Appreciate the attempt to improve after working through quirks with this update but it still needs a ton of design and usability work.

Please fix the latest version of the app or revert back to the prior (working) version.

The latest app update completely changed the look & feel and broke functionality. I’ve lost all access to statistics and use history. Please fix this! Feature request- ability to schedule the light function to turn on/off automatically.
Better than the last version
Much better design and functionality than the last version. The basic functions on this one at least work and make sense. Still buggy though. Doesn’t properly track sessions, some other minor stuff.
App still needs work
I have lost connection with my sauna more since the app was refreshed than I ever did with the old one. Is becoming more of a frustrating experience now more than ever. Please fix the app!

Happy to see the new app. Well done. One small comment / idea would be to add haptic feedback on the sauna button turn on (as you need to hold it for 3 seconds) App Notifications and lights all work well too.
Buy something else
I used to love my sauna. My app would schedule it every morning for 6 AM. Humm made an update to the app and now I can no longer schedule my souls. It’s the whole reason I went with this company. I used to scream from the rooftops. Telling people how great it was. They updated their app and I can no longer use this function. The whole reason I bought huum doesn’t work. I now tell people buy another brand.. I’m screaming from the roof rooftops for people to buy another brand. What a shame. I contacted their Support several times and they’re a bunch of non-customer focused people.. Shame on you, huum.

V4 is a huge improvement
V4 is sooooooo much better. There are still several small quirks but at least the core functionality seems to be fixed and working. Finally I can schedule repeating pre scheduled sessions to auto heat.
* Notifications don’t respect the units (I have it set on imperial but it always sends notifications in Celsius)
* It always sends a notification that my booking started an hour before it actually starts, but at least the heat turns on at the correct time.

Stupid app
The app worked fine. Then they updated it, now its doesn’t work, keeps demanding to go to the control panel to confirm the app. Oh and don’t contact customer service, they will send an email, saying they will contact me in 7 days. What the chuff???
