I don’t go university. Why can’t I go next if I don’t go university?? Pointless.
App functionality is poor, the opportunities are great
The opportunities the app offers are great, and the AI function is phenomenal - it saves a lot of time and proves useful if you’re finding it difficult to think of ways to start a CV/cover letter. To some extent they make up for the shortfalls of the app itself, but the overall functionality needs improvement:
- When entering details on your personal profile, upon clicking the update button it fails to save changes.
- When entering descriptions of your experience/education, you can only edit text per bullet point. If you need to go back and edit a section you wrote beforehand, you have to completely remove the text up until that point. You can’t copy and paste existing experience descriptions and then separate into bullet points either (which are mandatory on the app). You are also unable to add education under the ‘School’ header, so only a university degree can be included.
- Glitches stop you from typing every so often.
- When entering details of gender/ethnicity/location, regardless of how many times you save it, it is deleted the next time you click on your profile.
- The process of selecting jobs you’ve been matched with or switching between pages lacks smoothness. It often takes you back to the start or feels ‘jumpy’ when searching for details/clicking apply or save and trying to go back.
- Not all jobs specify salary, and filters (such as part/full time work) are lacking. Any company deceptive enough to hide the salary they’re offering is not worth you’re time.

Amazing app for students to find matches of work and experience. similar to other apps for students so easy to use too. Met the lovely ladies at freshers fair, very helpful 👍🏼 highly recommend
