Doesn't work as advertised. Calculations are wrong and the app is almost unusable.
The name says it all
This is a quick load calc app, not one to do those detailed loads required by the city. It’s perfect for those rule-of-thumb loads I need to do so often. It’s cheap, very easy to use, and most likely within 10 to 15% of doing a real load calc. I like it!

This app has been a sad disappointment of what little it can do. I feel ripped off and want my money back!

Great Ap but......
Great Ap but would be even better if you could: 1. Save your own default settings instead of having to update each time etc... & 2. Be able to email results. ( like you can in your duct sizing Ap)
Using it alot during this heat wave
Our phones have been ringing off the hook because of the heat wave, so it's I've been putting this app to good use out in the field.
Customers like it since it shows that we are tech-savvy and I can tell them instantly what size their split system should be.

Not for homes
I have used several programs in the past and I was not happy with this one. It is better to just guess then us this program.
Exceeds my expectations
At first I was skeptical about a load calc app on my iPhone, since it is often so complicated. However, this app is so easy to use and I compared it to more rigorous load calc apps, and amazingly it came within 10% of those calcs.
I like that it has so many different building types built into the database, too.
I look forward to seeing more complex apps in the future. Great work.

Good for my HVAC repair biz
It seems like I am always trying to figure out how much cooling and heating a home or small building requires. It's tough to try to get the dimensions and other info, go back to the office and then do extensive load calcs. Most of the time, I just need to do a quick load and this app has really helped me out with that. In fact, I did a quick load on a small office building using this app then compared it to the loads derived from a more detailed app, and the values were within 10%. Not bad for rule-of-thumb. Customers are impressed, too.
