Not happy with the app it doesn’t connect to my hoverboard and tries to connect to other house hold items if I could I would rate this app 0 stars because of many issues. Hover HX hoverboards are the best hover boards but the app is certainly not. Overall, I am not happy with the app and you should not download it until the problems is fixed.

The Hx hoverboard app continues to crash in the process of connecting to the Bluetooth module. Download surfwheel don’t waste your time
Use SurfWheel app
After tons of research I finally just guessed and found that SurfWheel and HX Urban are the same board just different names. I downloaded the SurfWheel app and it immediately connected and firmware updated after I went to the update section.
Doesnt work
It connects but i cant change the led lights
App kills the hoverboard
Terrible app. Can’t connect to Bluetooth on the hoverboard so it stuck in learner mode, can’t control the annoying instructions being shouted consistently, stuck in slow mode, terrible waste of $800. Please don’t buy this unit.
