This app is a wonderful way to keep all hydrocephalus and shunt related info in one spot. So very valuable and helpful when you need it most!
Nice to track symptoms
My daughter and I love that I can help support her in managing her care as an authorized user with edit rights. She also loves that she can track her symptoms when she’s not feeling well and send the report to her neurologist and neurosurgeon. So great to have her treatment history with us wherever we go.

HydroAssist
As a mom to two kids with hydrocephalus, I can't express how much the HydroAssist app has made the oftentimes complicated life of living with hydrocephalus easier to keep up with. I used to keep track of symptoms, shunt settings, etc. in a notebook. Now, everything is organized and accessible digitally, making it so much easier to stay on top of their health.
One of the features I love the most is that my kids can take control of their own information. They can share access with my husband and me, which really empowers them to be involved in their own care. It’s been a game changer for our family, and I highly recommend it to any parents navigating life with hydrocephalus!

Lifelong neuro patient
I have hydrocephalus and epilepsy, and have found HydroAssist very helpful to digitally incorporate my neurosurgical and neurological medical records in order to help outside medical facilities, family members and close friends to assist me with managing my neurological health. I am looking forward to the integration of Electronic Medical Record companies with HydroAssist in the future.

An Essential App
I love HydroAssist. It is exceptionally easy to navigate, and an essential app to have if you or a loved one have hydrocephalus. It can store so much important information for future doctors’ visits, and is there whenever you need it!
A must for hydrocephalus management
I consider the HydroAssist app a must have for anyone dealing with hydrocephalus. I recently was able to use the app in an emergency situation to show the doc my latest CT scan, shunt information, and setting which helped me get appropriate care. It is helpful having my hydro information organized and so readily available.

Much needed organizer!
This app is a great organizer for all treatments, imaging, symptoms and more right at your fingertips! It is very intuitive & convenient.

We are so grateful for this app as we love to travel and our son has moved several times for college and away from his neurosurgeon. The HydroAssist is an easy must have in case of an emergency shunt failure while out of town and just overall communication between patient, parent and physician. Highly recommend!

Key companion app for Hydrocephalus
HydroAssist has made travel so much easier, and gives me confidence tracking symptoms and meeting with doctors.
We use HydroAssist to keep track of our son’s headaches and other hydrocephalus related symptoms and experiences. It’s already helped us figure out when we need to change his shunt setting.
We used to travel with a big binder full of information about our son’s shunt, including various imagery, symptom history, And setting. Now we have it in our pocket.
I highly recommend this app for any patient or parent living with hydrocephalus.

I really thought this was a good idea
I’m rushed to the emergency. I go to the app to give them my information and the app won’t open at all. I’m afraid to delete it, I don’t want to lose the information. But if I can’t get into it useless. Please fix so I don have to delete.

I expected more from this app honestly. Would be better if I could choose from my photos to get the scans on there.

Need more options
This app is a great start, and my son’s neurosurgeon agrees, but it needs more places to put related info. There is no place to log a shunt revision, if it’s just a catheter change. You can’t log an MRI without having the actual image or log a NS appt and make notes on what was talked about. Those are additions that we think would be super helpful!

Wish it had an import feature
I wish there was a way I could import my medical data from MyHealthOnline into this app. My scans are available on there. When that is added, I will give 5 stars
