We're sorry this fell short of what you expected. There is something we should tell you first. 6.3.0 went up on the App Store today, and it reworks a good deal of what happens when you move over from Awesome Note. Backups made before 2014 — the format whose notes and folders were dropped entirely until now — are restored, and the tags you had in Awesome Note come across with them. The restore handling itself, and the app slowing down across the board when there are many notes, are fixed too. So what you ran into may well behave differently in 6.3.0. We haven't reproduced your case here, though, so we can't tell you outright that it is fixed. There is nothing for you to redo — you have already moved everything over. If you restore the same backup again, notes that are already there are skipped as already existing, so nothing new comes in. Tags and the old-backup support apply only at the moment of restoring, so they are not applied to notes that are already in. Hundreds of notes not coming across during the transfer is not how it is meant to work. Restoring folder by folder is the same approach our own help points to, but needing to do that at all is the problem, and we are looking into the cause. There is no need to send us your backup file. Just this much, to support@bridworks.com, would let us check whether it is genuinely solved at that scale. 1. Roughly how many notes were there in total, and how large was the backup file? 2. When you restored it in one go, how many of them came in? 3. How many folders were there, and when you restored folder by folder, did everything come in? 4. Did the restore screen show an error at any point? 5. Which part on the iPhone gave you trouble — installing, restoring, or syncing? You are right that the guidance was thin. Help only arrived inside the app in 6.2.0. It is under Settings > About & Help > Help, you can search it by topic, and it has its own entry on moving over from Awesome Note. If what you were looking for still wasn't there, tell us what it was — we add topics with each update. Thank you for telling us.
Beautiful, Powerful, Versatle
This app has jumped miles ahead with recent updates. It has pretty much everything you could want in a hybrid note, journal, planner, calender and task manager.
Very pleased with the consistent updates, new features and improvements. Note color backgrounds, default note font and size and the ability to link system events, Apple reminders and other notes are a few of my favorites. I also love that you have the option to link photos or videos from the system photo album to any note, instead of copying them which greatly saves space in the app and on your device. You also have the option to automatically link photos and videos to the timeline based on creation date. Both are unique features I’ve not encountered in any note or journal app.
A note allows you to add pretty much add any content to it, including photos, videos, url links (with optional preview), voice memos, system calendar events and appointments, Apple reminders, location, drawings, special days, workouts, weather, files and options for rating and mood — making it one of, if not the most versatile journal/note apps available — and creates a space for developing an unprecedented media rich knowledge-base of information, that can cross reference related notes. Also, you can move content around inside notes, unlike most journal / note apps (unless they are block-based). Makes it so much easier to rearrange content without the need of copying and pasting.
I’d also like to mention that the app is quite stable — which is quite a feat and boon for any app that you choose to store your precious memories and thoughts within and has back up and multiple export/import options too.
Suggestions / Ideas / Wishes:
- Setting to adjust font size of timeline
- Setting to adjust font size for week and month notes
- Custom icons / emojis for flow logs
- Another folder / timeline view exclusive to all the flow notes we create across days.
- Be able to convert an individual flow note into a separate full note, maintaining creation date.
- Tags for notes and flow logs
- Pinned Special days show at top of timeline (across days)
- Few alternatives app icons to choose from (and maybe a one of the beautiful awesome notes icon or a new variation)
- Ability to hide/show completed todo notes in folders (including all folder view)
- Note templates
Remember last calendar view after closing and reopening app
- Voice recording option for timeline logs to quickly add a voice memo without having to first create a full note
- Option to display week and month notes at the top of UI
Time until next event, reminder or task displayed next to blinking Now Log (between next scheduled event, reminder or task) — on timeline.
- Apple Watch app to view our days timeline / schedule and bookmarked notes and ideally add a new flow log from our wrist and/or a voice memo.
Amazing effort, talent and carefully craft thought has gone into this app. And in my opinion has surpassed the developer’s original and beloved AwesomeNote. Can’t wait to see what new updates and enhancements await.

One of the few day planners that also has a robust note system built in and that also lets you drag and drop list items and paragraphs in the note body.
Link previews are a nice touch too.

I’m quite impressed with all the work and thoughtful details that went into the app. I also especially like the week and month notes for the Calender views, location tracking and how nice the photo attachments look.
Lastly, an Apple Watch app (with complications) would be a dream come true. Love to be able to take this app on my watch, even if it was limited to a few selectable text notes and my day’s schedule.

Two of the things you mentioned — tags for notes and swiping left and right to move between notes — are in 6.3.0, which is now out. Please update from the App Store. There's no separate menu for creating tags. Just type # followed by a word in the note body and it becomes a tag right there. You can then browse by tag, or combine several tags to narrow things down, and typing a word in the search field without the # will find tags too. One thing to note: tags can only be attached to notes — not yet to Flow entries. As for the app icon, we've been designing in a number of directions ourselves. If something better than the current one comes out of it, we're also considering making several variants and letting you pick one inside the app. Nothing is settled yet, though, so we can't say when. The rest of your suggestions — text size options, custom icons for Flow entries, hiding completed to-do notes, note templates, an Apple Watch app — we've noted every one of them. 구글 캘린더 문제는 바로 해결이 가능합니다 도움말에도 자세히 나와있습니다. 구글 캘린더를 아이폰에서 보려면 아이폰에 계정을 등록하셔야 합니다. 구글 캘린더를 구글 캘린더 앱 외에 다른 앱에서 쓰실려면 그렇게 하셔야 해요. 어썸노트 때도 그렇고, 하이플로도 그렇고 아이폰의 설정 > 앱 > 캘린더 > 캘린더 계정에 구글 캘린더 계정을 등록하세요. 아이폰 캘린더에 나와야 하이플로에도 나옵니다. 이미 한국 사용자들은 어썸노트 사용자들을 위해 할인 가격으로 제공하고 있습니다. 어썸노트 유저 구분이 가능하다면 어썸노트 사용자만 할인을 할려고 했습니다만, 불가능해서 어썸노트 유저가 많은 한,중,일 사용자들 대상으로 그렇게 한것입니다.

반갑습니다. 처음부터 사용하셨으면 굉장히 오래 사용하셨네요. 어썸노트에서 백업을 받으신 후에 그 파일을 하이플로에서 복원을 하시면 됩니다. 다만 십년 이상의 데이터가 많이 쌓이셨을텐데. 한 파일로 백업을 하지 마시고, 폴더 단위로 묶어서 여러 파일로 나눠서 백업 하시는 것이 좋을것 같습니다. 한가지 더, 현재 태그를 복원하는 기능이 아직 빠져있어서 곧 배포될 6.3.0에 들어갈 예정입니다. 그때 복원을 하시는 것을 추천드립니다. 감사합니다.
