Too many bugs
So many bugs! If all you want to do is search, then it seems to do that. But trying to export songs to use in worship must be temptations from the devil. The apps on iPad and iPhone have to refresh the subscription before you make a list then before you try to export. If you make the list before refreshing, you’ll never be able to export it. The Apple desktop version takes you to a dead page to login - 404 error. Support has never emailed me back. Trying to find an alternative solution since the old software isn’t supported any longer.

Unusable
Unfortunately, for years this app has been wildly inconsistent and riddled with bugs. In its current state, it is unusable- it doesn’t even let you access sheet music, PPTs, or subscribe/renew your subscription.
BEST CHURCH MUSIC APP
This has to be one of the best apps out there for song leaders and church congregations!!! I’m not sure why some reviews are saying the app bugs out… I haven’t had any issues. My only complaint is that the “x” button on the full screen sheet music needs to be a little lower. It sometimes is hard to click with newer phone models. But other than that I have had no complaints. FOR SONG LEADERS: The information with pitch and pitch starting direction is very useful and is not behind a paywall. Overall the subscription is very cheap (only like 3 dollars) and has a built in 2 week free trial. The physical book on their website are also very cheap and it is affordable for any congregation. Hymns for Worship has no doubt the best collection of hymns!

Awesome app!
This is a really amazing app.It’s definitely the best hymnal app that I’ve used so far.It would be nice if it was all free, but I know these types of apps have to make money somehow!I highly recommend this app!😁
Don’t buy this app. It is a form of scam
I purchased the app. Every time I click on a song, it ask me to purchase again. It will drain your money.
More bugs than features
So when I first got this app I loved it. However things have since changed. It constantly logs me out and no matter how often I log in it logs me out again. Sometimes even my correct password and email account will be rejected. I regret spending money on this subscription as it has been more of a hassle than helpful. As a freaquent song leader I depend on this app for events that song books are not accessible. Severely disappointed. They have updated the format so many times that nothing is easy with this app. Every time you get used to the layout the layout changes. I could go on and on about bugs with this app but I will refrain. I just wish I had not spent the money on the app. I have tried to recover my account many times but can’t bc I keep getting a notification that a recovery email has been sent however I have not gotten an email in any of my inboxes. So in short none of the features on the app actually work for me and I regret spending any money or time on this app.

What happened to this app?
I downloaded it so I could quickly and easily download hymns to follow in worship. Paid for it. Used and enjoyed it.
Now, the menu system is stripped, downloading removed, and it is extremely tedious to navigate.
I verified I paid, it recognizes I paid, but:
Every. Time. I . Want. To. Download. A. Hymn. It. Wants. To. Re-authenticate.
Worse, there is no option to view sheet music offline:
You. Must. Be. Online. To. View. Sheet. Music. To. Authenticate. You.
Must. Be. Online.
This is terrible. I have to tether my iPad to my phone to view sheet music, hence pay tethering charges. Forget viewing sheet music if we are in areas not well served or overseas.

Great resource
Changing this back to a 5 star rating as I was able to log in and find my basic annual subscription.
Current app crashes on iOS 17.4
The app used to work well on the iPad mini.
Now it will not permit signing in nor will it launch slides or music sheets. It instantly crashes.
Oddly reporting customer service issues requires signing in to FitHub which I neither need nor want.

I can’t even open slides or music. As soon as I open it it crashes.
The update broke.
I love this app. For so so many reasons. I’m unable to see the sheet music or music portion. The app automatically closes itself when I try and tap on either.

Love it but…
Seems like every time there’s an update, I lose my hymns and saved info. Now I can’t even find common hymns in the search? Such a bummer because I used this app frequently and really appreciated it.

App issues
First off I just want to say that I love the content here. My issue is with the app and possible bug issues. I can’t restore previous purchases for some reason even though I already purchased the songs. Also when trying to advance slides in the app, the app crashes as I am progressing through the slides.

Blank App Window opens
When I open the app on my Mac, it only opens a blank page. I close it then reopen multiple times just to see a blank screen.
Love it!
Such a blessing to have these hymns on hand as I seek to fill my heart and mind on things above. The continued improvements and updates make the app even more useful.
Yes, when it works
Seems every update will result in sheet music nit working. Forces me to update - often last minute during service. No new update yet I can’t access Supplement. Revised edition ok
When it works….
This app is excellent when it works. It has however been broken more than working in the past year. I cannot see the music, but only the lyrics today once again.
No longer able to access the songbook or the supplement.
I downloaded this in 2020 when we were worshipping from home and wanted access to our songbook and supplement. It worked fine initially, but after an update I had to sign back in and I have not had access to my purchase ever since. I have reached out to the developer for support with no response and no solution. I tried the sync purchase and restore purchase option in the app settings, but I still have no access.
