This app used to be so good, you could do everything on it, now you have to pay for almost everything. Deleted.

Good app to an extent
Whenever I first got this app mostly everything was free now most the things on this app require you to have premium to use it was very good but thinking about deleting it and finding a better alternative then having to pay monthly for a subscription.
Paywall, paywall, paywall.
Welp, it was nice while it lasted. I used to use this all the time. There was so much variety, practically being able to do anything you wanted if you tried hard enough. Even if you didn't feel like paying a subscription, there was still a ton to do. Might as well forget about that last part, though. Just about everything is blocked behind a paywall now. I get that it's a free app and you gotta make money, but could've at least left something. Other than that, app is still really good if you're willing to pay a subscription, but that's an annoying thing to get over.

I am a paid annual subscriber who frequently uses the "AI effects" feature. Everything was working fine just a week ago, but now only a few effects remain; I cannot refresh or update the list, and deleting and reinstalling the app hasn't helped. I also can't find a way to contact customer support. The platform really ought to check the comments section and make timely improvements. Thank you!

How sad…
This used to be the absolute BEST photo editor. Now everything is behind a pay wall and requires you to pay for the subscription if you want to do anything. EVERY filter or effect is a pro feature now. There 0 free ones. Almost every template you try has some kind of pro feature on it. As much as I love this app and have used it for years. I think it’s time to uninstall and find something else. Super sad that greed has taken over this app. Hopefully one day it does go back to being the great app it used to be.

This used to be a really great app for editing photos. Haven’t used in a while so not sure when the change happened but seems like it’s just been in the recent months according to other reviews. Every feature is hidden behind paid premium now. I’d say 95% of the features. Sucks, going to have to find a new app for photo editing.

App used to be good now it’s a money making method no free features no nothing and I bought premium and didn’t even get the features contacted support no help had to call bank to refund horror app has great potential too bad it’s corrupted by greed
Not bad but not good enough
I have a few comments on Hypic, specifically on the iPad version, as the iPad has better clips.
1. Please keep the step adjustment space for every category, which is not just a “tick” to lock everything down.
Case 1,
I cannot adjust it again, eg I finish “touch-up / touch up + skin,” the only way I can confirm what I've done is by “ticking” it. When I click “Touch up” again, all the numbers revert to default. After layering on the “filter” or “adjust,” I would like to fine-tune my first Touch-up, but I CANNOT. I can only add digital enhancements, which is bad.
Case 2,
Filters keep adding on with every click. The good thing is I can add different filters, but can you let us click a tick to confirm the PREVIEW to add a filter layer (which should be adjustable)?
2. Create a “save recipe” function. After finishing any project, let us apply the same settings (only colour and adjustments) to other photos later. This saves a lot of time when shooting in the same setting. Please don't tell me about batch editing; I mean I want the recipe saved as a library that can be recalled whenever needed.
3. Export should not flatten all edits. All adjustments need to stay as set, and it should be possible to undo and fine-tune, including cropping.
4. Add a new category under Filter called “Your Own Recipe.” Save as a NEW filter after editing our own version. This involves duplicating the filter with “adjust,” “opacity,” “intensity,” then saving it as “same name 2” and auto-saving to “favourites.”
5. Align all name positions between iPhone and iPad. Sharing with friends is hard if it's not consistent.
6. Please pay close attention to improving face features in half-face photos. Many professionals in the beauty industry are willing to pay for a subscription to an app that uses AI to help enhance half-face photos.
