Abandoned and no longer relevant
No exif data (no focal length, no shutter speed, no exposure information) is saved into the picture. No GPS location either. The app doesn’t let you choose which lens to use. It doesn’t let you choose the quality (e.g. resolution). It doesn’t offer an aspect ratio at shooting time. I could go on. Clearly at this point, and looking at its latest update, it can be considered abandonware. Which means that iPhones of the latest generations are severely underused by this app. Plus newer versions of iOS could break the app at any point. Not recommended.

Schwarzweiß
Ich finde die App gut weil man qualitativ gute Schwarzweißfotos ohne den Umweg über das Farbfoto machen kann. Ich hätte mir noch den Raw-Modus gewünscht um vielleicht noch eine bessere Auflösung zu haben. Ein Problem habe ich: Ich habe mir das Filter-Set im AppStore gekauft und musste aber später (nicht wegen der Filter) die App deinstallieren und wieder installieren. Danach waren die Filter weg. Das finde ich gar nicht gut. Vielleicht kann man mich dazu mal kontaktieren.

Can’t Export Photos
Every time I try to export a photo the app crashes. Photos are not saved directly to your photo library, so the only way to access them is by export… loved the images, but can’t do anything with them!!!
Upload Error
Since weeks I can’t upload pictures into my gallery! I always receive the message „Sorry, an error occurred while trying to load your photo”. I really love this App but this is annoying especially when you paid for the pro Package! App Support via Website Not available as well( Error: Contact form not found.”)

Telecomando Bluetooth
La app è molto interessante ma non funziona con telecomandi Bluetooth. Aspettiamoci un aggiornamento software che superi questo inconveniente, dopodiché potremmo anche acquistare ulteriori filtri.
Amazing monochrome camera needs work
The B&W rendering is amazing. All I want to use and would be happy to pay a few $ for is the camera. But on my iPhone 14pro the framing fills the entire screen and I barely can see the shutter button. The please update!

A B/W Photography App with Personality
I can not easily express how much I love this app. It reignited my dying love for digital photography and is the best thing on my iPhone.
This is not the most fully featured or easiest to use camera app. It lacks many commonly expected features—e.g. volume shutter, video, color, independent exposure and focus control, zoom / access to the second and third lenses, a timer. It is idiosyncratic in its design and has a definite learning curve.
For me, none of this detracts from it. For starters, it makes taking really beautiful b/w photos fun and easy. Beyond that, it is wonderful in unquantifiable ways. It has a distinct character the way a well crafted physical object like an old fixed lens film camera might have. It has amazing features like being able to test out color filters and film grain textures before even taking the shot. It has a great design aesthetic. It has limitations and those limitations make it beautiful.
So many of our digital experiences these days have the frictionless un-designed sameness of an airport. I suppose that’s fine and good for a ride share app or an e-commerce site where you just want to achieve an end with minimal effort, but photography is an inherently romantic and artistic act. We deserve not only to create beautiful images but to do so in beautiful ways with beautiful tools. Hypocam achieves this.
(To be clear, I welcome new features and updates, and trust that if and when they come, it will be with respect for what is already great about the app)

B&W mobile photography at its best
Dear developers I’m a new beginner to photography. However I have an eye for snaps and I love black & white pictures. Your app as transformed how I look at photography and how I view images. A big thank you. There are no faults with the app. The only thing I would say is keep updating to offer more functions or filters. Or sometimes offer a free filter update.

Si blocca in continuazione/non funziona
Aspect ratio of camera
There is a lot to like about this app. I like the filter and noise options. But there is one basic thing that needs to be fixed. When taking a picture the whole screen is filled. This means that the vertical part of what the camera captures is accurate, but you don’t see everything the camera captures horizontally. That is, I’m seeing a 16x10 image, but camera captures 4x3.

App is great but i definitly need the possibility to take pictures with the volume buttons.

Please add the option to see the actual 4x3 frame that is being recorded not a full screen image. Square format would also be welcome.

Personalmente me encanta! Sin embargo me falta una función en la que se puede cambiar la temperatura (tone) de la foto. El símbolo es una gotita y pone “tone”. Tengo todas las opciones de la app compradas y no me aparece, sin embargo a mis amig@s sii!!! ¿Hay alguna solución? Tengo la app actualizada…

Super appli pour faire des photos en noir et blanc mais deux défaut à noter, l appli ne prend pas la photo immédiatement mais 1s après avoir cliqué et l’aperçu de la photo est en pleine écran alors qu’elle se prend en 4/3
