Blue Link
When buying the car I wasn’t told that Blue Link can not be used unless purchased after the “free trail”. There are 3 parts of Blue Link. Each cost $99.99 p/ year. The map functions can not be used unless the 3rd part is purchased. Get this, you can’t buy the 3rd “map” part unless you purchase one of the other 2 parts.

Electronics are not always good
I upgraded from 2012 to 2021 and my phone does not stay connected to the car like with the 2012. It is already telling me that I need to update the car and I have only had it just over a month. I purchased the car with just over 33,000 miles. Not sure what to think.
No indication that this is official
Their privacy policy is sketchy. No where does it indicate they have been contracted by Hyundai to provide this service. In addition my service location doesn’t even show up. This app is not particularly useful.
I would have given 3 stars if not for their privacy policy.
BTW the manual is just a glorified link to the Hyundai website. I don’t get it. It seems they have made a lot of these apps for different makers.

Sonata app
Good app for info 👍
Practical and useful
I procrastinate a lot less when I can book service in a few clicks versus calling the dealership and sitting on hold. Good for me and my car 😊
