Past tense affirmations?
UPDATE Oct 2019: I see the correction was made, so I am correcting MY review error and changed my rating to 5 stars. Thanks, Amy12477, for pointing-out my error. Iβm glad you got a laugh out of it , and that I figured-out how to edit my review.
July 2016: One of the affirmations says, "I chose to be happy." Chose? Why not, "I choose to be happy" or simply "I am happy" like the other affirmations that state "I am"? Sounds like someone one isn't proof-reading these before publication. Reading the word 'chose' really interrupted my 'blissful' run of affirmations.

Love the app except...
I really like this app, however, on my iPhone in settings, I donβt have the options enabling me to set my music and reminders. I have these options on my iPad. I have iPhone Xmax. Disappointed that I canβt enable settings on my iPhone.
Surprisingly helpful
I suffer from severe depression and self doubt, which makes it hard for me to achieve my most important goals. But after using this app for a few minutes, I felt a little more grounded. I also felt a tingling sensation in my feet that traveled up to my hands when I looked into my own eyes. This has happened to me once before when I found the courage to stand up for myself and make a difference in my life. So this app has definite potential I think.π€

Best positive affirmation apps ever!
Iβve tried several affirmation apps and this one is the absolute BEST one by far! I love that it includes a camera to view myself with as I repeat the affirmations to myself.
The daily reminders to do my affirmations is also helpful. The music is very soothing and calming as well. I only wish we could add our own custom affirmations. Otherwise a fantastic app!

Delightful!!!
This has subtle yet profound effects on my psyche. At first I was sort of unconvinced, but then I found myself completely enjoying the app. Now I have grown to love it, and look forward to the few minutes I spend with it each day. My advice: turn on the alerts and DO IT for a week or two - you will see what I mean! π

I originally downloaded this app ONLY to reply to djpassion who left a review on a previous version of this app. I always read reviews before giving up space on my phone so I found your review quite humorous. You should be the last person giving reviews based on "roofreading" as you called it! I would recommend "PROOFREADING" and not "roofreading," your own reviews when getting onto others for failing to do so. (I found three mistakes when proofreading mine BTW). It seems both you and the app writer were both off by only one letter. The app has been corrected but your review chastising them has yet to be corrected. (Perhaps you cannot submit an edit on a review... Even more of a reason to proofread I suppose.) I guess that will actually make me give this app one more star (originally I had decided on a 4 star rating) as the app developers do read their reviews and act on them. As far as the the app goes... Let's just say that I'm glad I downloaded it... Thanks DJPASSION!
