please listen, iready

so like it helped me a lot with tests further in the school year, but it is stressful. overall it's not bad, but please make lessons faster and educational than a whole yapping session. thank you

just complacated

its crazy and complacated and also makes me lose my mind just awful headache

I HATE I-READY 😡

It is so boring. I have to do for 45 minutes on reading and math. I remember I took the mastery exam, and it was a comprehension test. Just 6 questions. And I passed the exam. Got a 95%. I kinda use Gemini sometimes when I do hard pathway lessons. Another thing that I don’t like about I-ready when we have to take the diagnostic or the growth check. I-ready also got sued,or actually the company of that horrible Ed-tech learning platform called Curriculum Associates. The reason why I-Ready got sued because they tracked student data. It is so much worse than IXL,xtra math,Duolingo abc. They yap so long. The blocking software is called Linewize, not go guardian, sercurly. Cool math games got blocked for no reason because it was not educational. But I play Run 3 and ripoff Toca Boca on classroom 6x. Another learning game website is called Arcademics.

Love it bc my teacher this is by Mateo from School

Idk.

So educational

Whenever I use this app it’s the best it gets kinda boring cause it takes forever for me to get through a lesson but low key it’s super educational

Disappointing IOS Limitation

My son uses an older iPad for years. They just locked the app for iOS 18 and up only.

Why?

These kids use this for education and shouldn’t worry about having to purchase an up to date one. Very disappointed off of principle alone.

This is so Terrible

Every lesson is just a yapping lesson .I wish it was removed for lifetime!

No.

Possibly the worst “learning” app I’ve ever used. Like learning what? How to get mad at a machine? Teachers are like “oh iready is sooo good we love it the kids are soo happy with it and there are games” 🙄🙄 actually the games are ok I guess but the lessons OH the lessons I mess one thing up and back to level A. FUN •-•

It is bad

It made my kid suffer and dose not show improvement

THIS SUCKS

The reason why i say I-ready sucks because kids cry over this cause of their teachers telling them to do more, people really hate this app apparently “kids aren’t getting enough education” people i came across who had I-Ready was kids who had broken iPads, cracked, and even messed up that’s how bad I-ready is. The second reason is at school my Classmates hates I-ready so much of teachers are forcing us kids to do i-ready and they are so annoying, my last reason is that of the math lessons and the stupid ai ahh voices, The math lessons take so long to finish and kids actually cry over this, and the voices is so bad, kids actually cry and broke their laptops, computers, and iPads so DONT DOWLOAD THIS THIS SHOULD BE CALLED I-TORTURE.

made me cry

This app is devious. Makes you wait like an hour for ONE SINGULAR LESSON. If I get one fricking question wrong, then it explains it. Sounds neat right? WRONG. It gives you a 5 MINUTES ESSAY on why you got it wrong. And this stuff doesn’t even help. The fact you have to get above 60% to pass.. 60% GUYS. 60%. Just amazing. I haven’t even learned anything. Other than one thing about algebra. That lesson took me 1 HOUR BECAUSE I FAILED IT THE FIRST TIME. DO YOU EXPECT A 5th GRADER TO KNOW ALGEBRA!!!! Basically anyone can learn algebra. I heard a third grader in my school guessed 90% of the questions and got put in the same grade level as me. Like what is this. Also stop giving it five stars so it can be seen. It’s getting recommended to more and more people. So this is basically medieval torture.

I ready complain

when my son went to 6th grade the math lesson where harder than the old iready he told me it was a huge struggle and stress

Worst of all

Not for your grade confusing and clearly long

Awful

I’m just rating it 5 stars so it shows up. I would give this a -9000 if I could because it caused me, and my friends so much distress. The math lessons take too long and I could do any other work because since I was on 12th grade math the lessons were 2 hours long. Also it caused my boyfriend to break his arm and my ex (now husband) to faint and flip a desk

This app made my life a living hell

I hated it just hate it.

It sucks so bad

So this app SUCKS. I HATE this app with my whole heart. This made me cry, I hate the stupid alien things named Plory and Yoop, and don’t get me STARTED on Snarg, he’s the worst one. And that stupid girl named Vivi on the diagnostic, I don’t care if her friends rushed. I’m GONNA rush because I wanna be done with school and STUPID I-Ready

Honest opinion about it

So, of course, my school forces me to get 45 minutes and two lessons in both subjects by the end of the week. Seems fair, right? It can’t take that long, right? Wrong. I have spent countless hours on I-Ready math just listening to the teachers talk after getting a single question wrong. Reading to me comes easily, but I can’t stand for everyone. I’ve also heard that I-Ready is getting sued for tracking students and getting information they shouldn’t.
The reason why I have given them a three star rating is simply because I have learned a lot from them. If students actually pay attention they can learn a lot. I also find it helpful that you can retake a lesson if you fail it.
Overall, I give I-Ready an honest three out of five stars. I don’t think people should rate it one star out of spite, or five stars just because of the games. I rated it a three because it has many good qualities and many bad qualities. Remember to study, people!

THE WORST…

Guys, I would NEVER recommend this app. It’s so frustrating because if you get a question wrong, it gives you a hint, but it doesn’t help you at all, and the hint is more like a yap session, and the lessons are so long. It usually takes like 30 through 45 minutes for just one lesson and it is so annoying so please don’t download this app(also the games aren’t really fun).

I’m rating it high so you could see why I dislike it

It appears that the program was sued, which is frustrating because the lessons take an excessively long time to complete. When taking the follow-up test— not the initial diagnostic test, but the one administered after lessons— it’s surprisingly quick. My classmate, who I believe is slightly more intelligent than I am, received the same score as me. They should have scored higher on the math test, but somehow the results didn't reflect that. I scored very highly on my reading test, which I mention not to boast, as my friends are actually quite skilled at reading and love to do it regularly. Interestingly, they scored lower than I on that test. The situation feels unfair. I also heard about a new i-Ready system being introduced for higher grades, which I really don't want to use. I wish they would revert to the previous system, so we could still enjoy the games and activities designed for older students. I haven't had a chance to explore the new system yet.
