App won’t load
Every time I try to open this app it keeps crashing out
Needs auv3
Title. Plus it doesn’t even work as an IAA app. It’s pretty much a useless app if I can’t use it in my ecosystem. Add auv3 support for five stars.

Just to clarify, iBassist has had full AUv3 support for several years!(2023) 🎸 You can load it as a plugin directly inside your favorite host (AUM, Cubasis, Logic Pro and more) with complete state saving and rock-solid stability. For IAA, make sure to open iBassist in standalone mode first before loading it in your host, this prevents connectivity issues. Hope this gets iBassist working perfectly in your ecosystem! Ça à l’air super mais je ne comprends absolument rien pour intégré le son des accords ni la batterie j’ai pourtant touts la collection. Une explication ne serai pas du luxe, lorsque l’on trouve des vidéos sur le net il y a une fenêtre avec 4 tranches que l’on peut augmenter mais impossible et pourtant j’ai chercher. De l’aide serai la bienvenue

This is incredible. You really could not ask for more in a bass app, so many styles, variations and tweakability, and in combination with their drummers and midi export this is a treat for every music maker catering for whatever genres you like to create. Comme toutes les apps Drummer de ce developpeur, encore un bijou de musicalité, de sons et de grooves !
Et fonctionne bien en sychrone avec les drums, que ce soit sur iPadOS ou macOS.
Du même niveau, voire mieux que les plug-ins dédiés pour ordinateur.

Great app but no bluetooth ability?
Great app and use it with most of the drum apps by LumBeat.
BUT, the drum apps have Bluetooth ability but not iBassist!?!?
Even when iBissist is linked with the other drum apps……no Bluetooth output! The sound comes out of the iPad’s built in speaker even if my Bluetooth connection is active to the amplifier! Not sure if it’s an app deficiency or lack of information by Lumbeat?
Have written to the producer but no reply at this point!
Maybe this will get a response?

Bluetooth issue
This iBassist App is OK, but there were some problems. I have looked for solutions, on forums on the internet in different languages, and I could solve most of them. But there's one thing I still don't understand: the sound of every app I have (even other apps from Lumbeat), I can send with bluetooth to my bluetooth speakers. But not this iBassist app. Why? Same iPad, same speakers, sounds on the iPad work perfect, but only iBassist does not connect with bluetooth. If I use other Lumbeat sounds, together with iBassist, only the sounds of iBassist or suddenly vanished. So strange...

No app like this, awesome functionality
Lumbeat is just fantastically clever and really thinking of the user in the way they conceptualize and execute feature sets. 5 stars for whatever Lumbeat touches, they are fantastic apps and ought to be converted to desktop and even into a full suite like a mini DAW or something, I think the dev really thinks deeply about how to make something that gives users all the control they could want.
That makes any complaint a moot point IMO, but here’s what I wish was better:
No MIDI export option! Maybe because some lines are absolute copies of copyrights tunes? Would just like to be able to use this as a production tool sometimes. MIDI out on drummers = absolute bliss.
Tones are cheesy. MIDI out is possible so solves that problem but it would be nice to get higher quality tones in house across all Lumbeat apps. Most of the bass tones in here sound like they were sampled from children’s keyboards. No offense to Luis, but with the high quality across the feature list, tones seems a weird spot to make sacrifices. Maybe big samples are heavier on live performance processing?
Design. Lot of information jumbled into intense menu sets. They are useable. But not elegant. Overwhelming to navigate and I think that’s because the info is presented trying to provide as much as possible all at once. I’d rather get decisions fed to me in a less spaceship console kind of manner, esp when using live I don’t need so much at hand.
All that aside I LOVE the updates lately and hope more are coming, and really am dying for the classic country Americana singer songwriter drummer! That’s such an obvious missing piece in my book and could be built out of the apps you already have with more focus on patterns and tones for that world.

Just a couple of updates since your review: iBassist now supports MIDI export, so you can take your bass lines straight into any DAW or trigger any external instrument with them 🎸 hope that unlocks the production workflow you were looking for! We've also made significant UI improvements in the latest update to make navigation cleaner and less overwhelming, especially in live contexts. Thank you for updating this app! It is now the Bomb! I loaded it and Rock DM in AUM. And added BLEASS megalit playing it live and instantly had to hit record! Just awesome!🫠😌
Up then down again
After years of denying the AU3 tide, Lumbeat finally made its first AU3 compatible app, and instantly became part of the future. Lumbeat always had tremendous sounds and a superior level of functionality, all that was missing was that vital integration. Only problem is, the last but one update added the ability to receive grooves from Lumbeat’s Rock Drummer, then the current update took that away! FFS, does anyone test this stuff. It’s in house so should never happen. Until this is fixed, I can’t even see iBassist from Rock Drummer.

Solo va bien en modo Standalone
Prácticamente no se puede usar como AUv3 en Cubasis,no loopea ,notas que se cuelgan y crasheo en ciertas ocasiones,es mejor usarlo en modo standalone ya que en modo InterAppAudio también falla muchísimo así como todas las demás Apps es una pena,t deja sabor agridulce😓

Absolute super bass app
I use this app since years now and Ìm very happy with it. Therefore II was very glad to see an update of the app one week ago. Now unfortunately the grid is not working correct anymore. I am sure that Lumbeat will fix the bug again. Very thanks in advance
