Became my study tool
Taking bio classes right now and downloaded this for identification help. Became one of my go-to study tools pretty fast. Took me embarrassingly long to find the search filters though, buried a little deeper than I expected.
Turned dog walks into birding
My dog walks turned into unofficial birdwatching once I got this app. Recognizes a lot of the morning birds for me now. Only real complaint is text size on some of the detail pages, I have to zoom in more than I'd like.
Solid, just not always intuitive
We're up at our cabin most weekends and this has become part of the routine. Species info is detailed and easy to follow. Navigation between screens isn't always intuitive, a few times I've had to back out and start over to find something I'd looked at before.
Learning curve, but worth it
Our library runs nature programs and I've picked up a lot using this app. Species accounts are thorough without getting overly technical. Took me longer than expected to get comfortable with all the features, a short onboarding tour would've helped.
Completely unusable
Crashes on launch. Has been broken for months. I reached out to them months ago but they never fixed it. Canceling my subscription
