Great content, bad app
The content on IBJ itself is great and I’ve subscribed for years. But the app itself is really not good. Photos are always morphed and elongated since they aren’t formatted properly for mobile, and it will randomly log you out regularly.
Pretty basic fixes
1) include a “search” function within the app
2) enable side of the screen “swiping” functionality to go back

Needs updating badly
The screen is terribly small and designed for what looks to be the iPhone 4S format. Should be updated for all current screen sizes so that it’s not useable. For a publication trying to keep up in a digital world, they aren’t doing a very good job.

What about the iPad?
This is a terrible redesign for viewing on the iPad. I hop an iPad version is coming soon.
