Worse app!
This app have poor performance and unstable. I usually login with 8-9 times each. It's usually fail! We cannot see the next page with app version
App Crash
App is getting crashed for 6MB mht files.
IOS 7?
Is it just me, or did it quit working with iOS 7? Any word on a patch?
Lost all reports upon update
I lost all reports upon the update. I only see a blue border at the top. Even the reports built and I want to view -- blue border at the top too. Please fix. Otherwise this is a great app.
Clarification for server changes - Uninstall not Necessary
The reviewer who said you have to uninstall the app to point to a new server is incorrect. Albeit this is may be considered non-intuitive, but the server setting is stored in the Settings app for the Cognos app. Just got to Settings > Cognos Mobile and you will see the server settings there which you can change to point to another server. To be sure, this should be made clearer in the app.

Needs ability to log off a server
Great app. However, to log out of a server, you have to uninstall the whole app and re-install it, because IBM didn't provide a way to switch servers. This feature is needed in the case of consultants or multiple instances of mobile servers in a company. Please fix this, IBM! Otherwise, solid product, attractive and easy to use interface.

Google Drive Integration Please
Would be nice to see Google Drive integration for opening up Active Reports, similar to the integration found in Dropbox.

Was Working, Doesn't Now!!
The previous version worked very well, but upgraded to new iPad 3 and now all reports are blank.. No text is displayed at all..
Nice, just need AirPlay
Nice app, latest version just released looks sweet. I still have not yet worked out how to integrate the security logins (users get prompted twice). Would be nice to set it up in the setting and have it saved so users are not prompted each time. Would also be excellent to easily present reports using AirPlay or what not for a meeting with full interactive capability. Also would be nice to organize reports that are on the iPad. Great start though with this app.

Good for proof of concept, but not yet Enterprise grade
Good: Does work with our VPN and authentication. Demonstrates access to Enterprise Cognos, including executing reports as well as accessing saved reports. Good finger friendly UI.
Not so good: still seems to be a bit buggy, with user experience inconsistent between the browser mobile interface via Safari and the iPad app. Some features only work in the app and some only work in Safari. In the app, I can only access the most recent saved version and can't access different formats for a particular report - picks PDF over HTML output versions.
Bottom line: Good for demos to our business users, but not yet ready for real production use.
I'm looking forward to the next update, which will hopefully address the glitches.

Simply Amazing - long awaited
It's been a very much anticipated release. We were waiting for an iPad solution for Cognos and Active Reports really delivered! Obviously IBM took time to release something that would not just be a report on an iPad - it had to be more. It seems IBM does not do anything small - this is a huge step in the right directions. I have been using Active Reports on the iPad now for a few weeks and this is built to impress. Great Job!

Much more than a glorified bookmark
A very good mobile business app that can only get better.
I have said for a long time that tablet apps need to be more than glorified browser bookmarks pointing at web content. Sadly, 90% of iPad apps are just that.
This app makes reporting easier because it has functions that are not easily implemented in a web browser. The annotation and syncing functions are great examples
When giving presentations, I am very seriously considering bringing a few iPads to let attendees access reports and make their own conclusions. Users will be productive with this application without any extra instructions from me. That does not happen very often.

Perfect Timing
Really looking forward to using this app!! Trouble with our organization's Single Sign On shim, but I'm confident the app will live up to my expectations. We just began to roll out a series of Dimensionally Modeled Relational queries and reports into production, so I'm eager to see how they handle.
Perfect timing, because I just bought my first iPad specifically to demo and utilize Cognos reports (been using my convertible tablet for the Wacom stylus and full-sized keyboard support), and my next Cognos conference is two weeks from today, in Dallas! Great work.

Great app for those of us who travel
We have been using the beta of this app and have upgraded to the full version immediately. We only have 4 dashboards but they are so much easier to use than sending reports via PDF. I love having all this information and the report interactivity with me on the road. Thanks Cognos!

Cognos reporting has been the most useful part of having an iPad for me, now it's just got even better.
