Good in theory/ horrendous in practice

Navigation NEVER takes you the direction route.
Even though there are jobs to ‘bid’ for, none of them are on the bidding screen.
You CANNOT start the meter, stop the meter, or finish the job if you have no signal.
You also CANNOT send through SMS transactions with no signal, meaning you have to travel to an area (with the customer) to get a signal and THEN send SMS.
You can have a phone signal, get on the ‘net, social media, etc, but Icabbi will NOT have a signal.
Sends repeated messages, requiring an interaction, WHILST DRIVING, otherwise you cannot see the address of the job you’re going to.
If a message is sent whilst the office is retrieving a job (a no-show) the screen will lock and you have to reload the app, as the message blocks the screen and cannot be removed.
Reporting bugs to the app developers is pointless, you never get a response.

Map In ios not working properly
Hi maps not adjusting when routes are deviated. Error on in app navigation in ios. pls update. started few days back. Thank you

Map is rubbish not exactly pin point seems to always recommend the longest route or takes you half a mile away from where need to be , takes you to the wrong place , if a house is on a street seems to try take you down back ally’s , customers don’t always seem to be happy either think you taking them the long way round to gain an extra couple quid

Frustrating Navigation and Map Issues
The iCabbi app has some major navigation flaws that make daily driving difficult. The built-in maps consistently suggest long, inefficient routes and the pickup locations are often inaccurate, sometimes placing the pin 100 yards away from the actual customer.
A big issue is that when bidding for jobs, map directions often fail to show up entirely, forcing me to switch to a third-party map and waste time. Additionally, the app’s maps lack real-time traffic updates and don't show road closures, which is a nightmare during peak hours. It needs a major update to include live traffic and more reliable GPS accuracy.

Slow app
Really slow to get bid jobs you bid but by the time the bid as gone through it’s gone losing money & getting really annoying obviously there is an issue I am using I phone there must be a solution but no one seems to be doing anything about it come on guys sort it out

A lot of improvement needed
Many cancelled jobs on the bidding page. When you get there the job has actually been cancelled +15 mins ago. Woulda been great if this problem can be solved that would save drivers from driving around all for nothing. The map on the CarPlay needs to be fixed: the blue map direction is hidden behind the navigation information cards, which makes it hard for drivers to see where they are going

Hi after the latest update there is glitch in gps. Many times app detects car in waiting time when driving.
Needs updating
App is not at its best at this version messages and notification comes after the job is completed. Then there is 2 seconds delay getting jobs. And worse thing is you can’t pick and choose which navigation app you want to use. I think they have contracts with google

The app is ok it’s nothing special it does the job but the only thing I dislike about this app is when you accept a job why does it only have google maps please update this app so we can use Waze maps so much better helps us out with police cameras and etc and takes us fastest way please update
Screen freezes
When I return a job to base , it has a habit of notifying me 4 or 5 times , often leading to a screen freeze , meaning I have to turn the phone off and on to continue …. The Google map in the app gets you to within 50 yards of where you want to be then stops ! As for car play ….just don’t ..

This app is the bane of my life. Every update seems to bring fresh bugs and more poor usability.
Always trying to force you to open the app’s version of Google Maps, overriding whatever you’re doing in the native Google app, the CarPlay integration on my car’s screen (w213 Mercedes 220) is awful, with important information hidden by pop up direction markers just when you need it and very difficult to get back to (and stay in) Google Maps proper.
The notifications for prescheduled jobs all have to be accepted individually with no way I can see of bulk accepting. Each is its own notification and the app can’t be interacted with until it’s manually cleared.
Just seems to have done another update and now I can’t find how to navigate to the home screen from the current job to check what’s upcoming.
I repeatedly remove this app from CarPlay to try and mitigate some of these problems and it always seems to end up back in there.

1. When approaching to the destination, the map zoom out and can’t see the location. It should be zoom in to locate the destination clearly.

Absolutely ridiculous and waste of work … I have no idea why companies chose to use this app 🤔. So many crashes so many screen freeze so many not responding screw. Absolutely disgusting

iCabbi Driver App
Not sure why there are so many poor reviews. I’m new to taxi driving and this app is perfect. Although I’d like to choose Apple Maps instead of being locked to Google Maps, and the ability to navigate to multi pickup points with ease would be good too.
