User reviews

Broken

Looks like the app is broken now. I have setup several integrations but Home Screen is stuck in just a movies carousel view from popular movies on tmdb

Response from developer

Your review appears to be more of a support request. Did you enable the integration in settings? Some users required the ability to enable or disable at will, while retaining their settings. It will be the “enabled” toggle under the API key field. If this resolves your issue please update your review, and you can also ask for support on the discord or email the support email.

Expensive

Not worth the price

Response from developer

The app is free, there is no cost to use the app. Only extra features are part of the subscription and not core to the app functionality. Such as ratings from 3rd party tools which have a cost.

Top notch app - finely crafted Swiss-army knife for self hosted media management, ARR!

I was pleased with my existing media manager but when I saw Icarus shared on Reddit I had my interest peaked just enough to download it - no harm in trying out a free app, right?

After getting it connected to my ARR instances I could see that the app had a certain polish to it that stood out. It’s very well thought out.

I quickly started opening it by default instead of any other media managers. A month or so later, it’s the only app I am opening.

The app has some paid upgrade only features, but the standard free features do everything I need. Although, I am considering the upgrade solely to tip the developer / fund future development.

Good

Is there any way we can get a search history for indexers? That was my favorite part about SABmini.

This has been added as a feature request. If you’d like to contribute more please use the discord or email support@myicarus.app

Best App on My Phone

I recently switched to IPhone from Android as a result of me losing a bet haha.

I was looking for a NZB360 replacement. While this isn't a 1-1 replacement, YETIt, it's consistently making improvements great!

I'm happy to support the development of it!
