Search function doesn’t work
I just bought this app, largely for the search function but it does not work. I do not recommend this app if you’re hoping to search for icd codes by disease. I’m deleting it.

Charged 3.99 for 2 categories then want 3.99 for more! That's not satisfactory! Buy a different app!
Not worth It!!
I bought this app for $3.99...now it says I have to pay another $3.99 to use the full search function...I have asked for my money back...Hopefully someone reads the email!!!!

App is really good. When you pick codes it should automatically save in shortlist as physicians of a particular speciality use them again and again.

disappointed Big TIME!!
I was very disappointed with this app. No search......are you kidding me! Very brief descriptions. No cross coding. You get very little. Practically useless to me. Sorry but I wish I hadn't bothered. App needs lots of work to be useful.

Take it to new level
Having icd9 on my itouch is great for searching codes and it works well. But there should be a settings tab in which a physician can select his speciality(ophthalmology , derm, etc or all). In case a particular speciality is selected then all codes appearing after that should be characterized and limited for billing of that particular speciality.

Terrible app. Graphics are great bit the search function did not work and the program would not give the codes to any degree past the decimal point. I ended up deleting it.

very helpful for doctors. Category and keyword search works well. Please add CPT codes also to the app if possible so surgical codes are also added. That will also be very useful

Question
I just bought this app and the data looks good. The 2011 data comes out in October - what happens when that update comes out. Does that data get upgraded directly. Is there anything I would need to do on my end. Also is there any way I can make notes within the apps. If not, I would recommend that as a desirable feature for the future.

Waste of $$. Wikipedia is free.
I'm tired of this app working then not working again. While not working I've come to find that Wikipedia has all the same information for FREE, just search under "List of icd 9 codes". I now have a little more free memory on my iphone.

Don't buy this app!!! I want to give it 0 star if I can. The search function doesn't work and the specific list of codes I need for billing aren't even there. I can't believe they charge for this worthless app. I went back to using the free web site and am searching for another iPhone app.
group codes classification
I have been using this for a few months for my opthalmology residency and have since not used the icd9 book. what I need is to be able to group all opthalmology codes I use in a single group, internal medicine in a different group and so on. that will make a big diff to the app
