Adding or Editing

My medications and conditions change and grow. Changing a dosage is simple but adding or reordering is extremely difficult to impossible.

LOST ALL INPUTTED INFORMATION

I have had this app for at least 15+ years and recently tried the iPhone update only to LOSE ALL of my information. It is not stored on the icloud. I need to find another app that can handle ALL updates required. What a PITA! I loved it before this happened. 😭

FAQ

What does the ICE Medical Standard app do?

The app allows you to display your emergency medical contact information directly on your smartphone's lock screen. This ensures that first responders, such as EMS and ER staff, can quickly access vital details about your health and contacts if you are in an accident or medical emergency.

How does the color-coded status work?

The app uses a three-color system to indicate your health status at a glance. Green means 'Good To Go,' yellow indicates you are taking medications, and red signifies a high-risk status due to severe allergies or health conditions, prompting responders to read further.

Is the app free to use?

The application is available for free, but it offers in-app purchases. This likely includes options for additional features or services, such as the physical ICE Medical Standard ID Card, which is recommended as a backup.

What information can be displayed on the lock screen?

You can choose to display your emergency medical contact information and a color-coded health status. The app also allows you to control which personal information is shown on your lock screen overlay to protect your privacy.

What happens if my smartphone is damaged or out of power in an emergency?

The app acknowledges that a smartphone can be damaged, overlooked, or out of power during an emergency. For this reason, it offers a physical ICE Medical Standard ID Card, which is presented as the best way to ensure your emergency medical contact information is always accessible to first responders.
