didnt know attachments were at bottom for sessions until 3rd day in. the image of those typicallu means you click to open but found out there is a tab at bottom. very frustrating.
also, finding vendor information was not intuitive either.

Great Conference Experience
This app is an invaluable tool for making the most of the ICMA conference. It’s a wealth of information and helps you navigate the numerous sessions available. You can also view materials for sessions you wanted to see but couldn’t attend due to conflicts. Love that this app will last beyond the conference as well. Really adds value for participants

Maps ?!
Huge missed opportunity. Could easily have incorporated some sort of “go to map” or “show on map” to easily find where your going from within the session information.
Instead, you have to back all the way out to the main menu to pull up the Floor Plans, which don’t even include any compass or cardinal directions.
It didn’t need to be this hard to find your way around a conference full of city planners.

Very convenient.
The ICMA 2023 Conference App was easy to use and the notifications me on time. Would definitely recommend it.
Nice improvements
Really nice to see how the app has grown over the pat few years. The slide embedding is seamless, and the notes function and downloading (while I haven’t used them) are excellent adds.

Love having everything “conference” on my phone, including attendee lists and slides, and love the interactive features. It all adds to the conference experience!
This could be my imagination, but I feel like the app sucked my battery. I was depleted far faster in the course of each day than I ever recall before using the app.
I love the availability of speaker slides (especially for those sessions I was not able to attend), and the ability to mark them up is stellar. However, some of my types notes disappeared — I ended up taking notes in another app because I stopped trusting it to save what I was typing.
I also wish there was a way to edit postings (noticed I made a typo after posting), and would like the ability to post your own photos when you comment to another posting in order to add to the theme.
That said, I’m glad ICMA is using this app as it makes for a richer experience. Thanks!

Best conference app I have ever used.
Terrible UX
I finally got a paper conference book and wrote down details of each session to copy into a note on my phone. Endlessly being logged out automatically, being logged out accidentally by hitting “back,” and having to wade through ~10 screens to get back to the schedule again is not a good experience. Extra bummed because the Columbus 2022 app was flawless!

Makes you login every time you open the app
Hope ICMA uses different app next year. So inefficient.
Obnoxious Login Process
The app includes some good information and functionality but that is overshadowed by the annoyance of having to login every time you try to use the app.

It’s frustrating to have to log in each time, go thru authorization, swipe thru the tutorials before I can get to the content. Once I get past all these walls however I do like the app and it’s features.

Can’t we just use biometrics or something else to prevent logging in all day long?

The app tells us when there are new messages. I would prefer to be able to review one and then swipe to the next one without having to back up to the message list.

I am a first-time attendee. So far it has been nothing short of incredible and inspiring!
