Perfect for communication tough concepts
I’ve lived and traveled all over Asia and this app has helped me a lot when trying to describe something I need or want. Easy! Thanks! I haven’t needed the health care section but I can imagine that would be invaluable in a health emergency.

Der Bereich Essen ist übersichtlich. In den anderen Rubriken fehlt mir einiges, da könnte man von Langenscheidt oder Point it lernen. Z.B. Eine bessere Uhr, u.o. Eine bessere Darstellung des Körpers
Great app
Lots of reviewers misinterpreting the app. It's great for traveling to places with high communication barriers (Asia, etc). Has been useful in my trips through Japan and Vietnam. I recommend it to a lot of my friends.
Sehr gut
Sehr gut erkennbare und gut strukturierte Abbildungen. Das meiste sind schwarzweiß Piktogramme. Man wählt eine Kategorie und scrollt dann die Bilder durch. Durch Antippen vergrößert sich das entsprechende Bild zum Vollbild. Es sind nicht so viele Abbildungen, aber alles wichtige ist dabei.

I don't understand the purpose. Graphics are nice but can't do a thing with them. They are Useless

おそらくどんな国の人にでもすぐに気持ちや求めているものを理解してもらえるでしょう。
ちょっと人と喋りたい気分じゃなくて、感情を察してほしいときにも便利かもです。
何よりイラスト集として眺めてるだけでも楽しめます。

I wanted this for one reason
to Copy and Paste the icons in texts or iMessages. I'm not sure why the developer(s) didn't make that option available.
When you travel even with language barriers you meet people, make new friends, get phone numbers, and it would be nice to be able to send an icon to someone you sort of know rather than having to ask complete strangers where to find something or how to get somewhere.
Make Copy and Paste an option and I will change my review for sure!

在国外旅行应该能用得上
在下载页面上显示的图片和说明是中文，怎么下载后打开却是英文的了。这么多图片最好可以用户自行添加注释，毕竟很多图片很类似（特别是食物），很容易分不清。
A list, not a dictionary
This is quite a comprehensive list of icons but there are no definitions. I can figure out what many of the icons are depicting, but if I saw some of these on a sign I would have no idea what it was trying to tell me. A short definition would be useful. Probably won't use this app unless definitions are forthcoming.

Ein Bild sagt mehr als tausend Worte
Ich benutze das Bilderwörterbuch ICOON bereits seit einiger Zeit auf meinen Auslandsreisen. Ob in Asien, Spanien oder den USA überall kann man sich schnell verständlich machen. Neben zahlreichen Illustrationen hat diese digitale Version auch Bilder/Fotos bspw. für English Breakfast, Continental Breakfast oder für Pizza, Sushi oder Hamburger.
Sehr hilfreich finde ich auch die Symbole für Trinkwasser, "Kein-Eis" und das ganze Magen-Darm-Problem ;-) Wer hatte das noch nicht auf Reisen.
Alles in allem hat ICOON alles was man auf Reisen braucht.
