About

iCT Dose is a fast, clinical reference tool designed for radiographers and CT technologists who need instant access to CT dose reference values at the scanner console. QUICK LOOKUP Instantly view CTDIvol and DLP reference values for 12 exam types including Brain, Chest, CAP, Spine, and peripheral joints. See Low, Typical, and High dose ranges with full CTDI and DLP ranges displayed together. COMPARE PROTOCOL Enter your own CTDIvol and DLP values and instantly see how they compare against ARPANSA reference levels. Color-coded feedback shows whether your protocol is within range, slightly high, or high. BMI GUIDE Calculate patient BMI and receive adjusted CTDIvol estimates for Brain, Chest, and Abdomen/Pelvis - the three most common CT exams. Accurate patient height and weight entry helps modern CT scanners apply automatic dose modulation (AEC) more effectively, delivering the lowest diagnostic dose possible. CLINICAL REFERENCE All values are based on ARPANSA Diagnostic Reference Levels (DRLs) for Australian adult patients. Designed for use at the CT console — dark mode optimised, fast to navigate, and built for real clinical workflow. DISCLAIMER This app provides estimated reference values for educational and professional reference purposes only. It does not represent actual patient radiation dose and should not replace clinical judgment or institutional protocols.
