Developers gave up on the app

There is a good 4 second delay from the script on my iPad compared to the script on my iPhone. Near impossible to keep up with the talent reading off the script. Last update was over a year ago, Iโ€™m sure the developers have stopped caring about this app long ago.

Mirror script

I love the app but can you guys have the remote mirror the TelePrompTer?

The BEST TelePrompter with remote app

Look no further - I've tried a few of them and this is the BEST TelePrompter on the AppStore with great features. Combined with its iCue Remote app, it is just what you are looking for.

However when I switch the remote to Gestures mode, three is no way to switch it back to button mode - I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to reset it. Please fix this.

Also, in portrait mode, Remote app's buttons do not depress when we tap them. They depress only on landscape mode. They work in both modes but make sure they animate on tapping.

A great app!

I've been happy with iCue Remote so far, after a few months of reliable usage. My one small/medium-sized complaint is that if I accidentally rotate my iPod Touch from portrait to landscape, the connection is lost and I have to reconnect. This also happens if I lock the device; when I unlock it, I have to rejoin the session. So far it hasn't been a major issue, but it has created some tense moments on-set at times, when the director and talent are ready to start shooting, but I'm now the source of a delay. Once you're connected, though, the app works like a charm! I recommend it; you just have to be mindful of holding your device still.

App broken

Dont let me write my scripts .... So useless app !!!

Works great but here is an idea...

Unless I am missing something, if I am using an iPad as prompter monitor and iPhone as the remote. In order to see where the script is I need to have a visual on the iPad, or scroll the script on the iPhone with my finger (which is choppy). How about adding a simultaneous scrolling of script on the remote so you know where you are? All in all though, it s a great app that works great!

Doesn't work for iPad

We use one iPad for teleprompting, and wanted to use a second one as a remote - but it didn't work. We managed together it to work on an iPhone, but not on an iPad. Disappointing.

Review of iPad iCue

I am beginning to create many videos for my business and have tried many apps to enable me to use an iPad teleprompter easily and efficiently. The teleprompter parts of the apps have always worked well, but the challenge has been using my iPhone or other device as a remote to connect and control the teleprompter scroll. The connections were always difficult to make and once connected they were very unreliable and quit whilst I was in full speech -Aaaargh - the time wasted trying to connect drove me crazy. I also found other apps awkward to edit once in the teleprompter program.

But iCue I can control with my wireless keyboard or another iPad. I admit I have had trouble controlling with my iPhone.
The app is easy to edit on the fly, has multiple options that are easy to alter and the wireless connection is instant, seamless and reliable.

Finally some productivity - thank you all at Sunshine Valley Systems

This does not work!

This remote just does not work properly and most of the time not at all. I purchased iCue for my iPad and this app is used as a control panel for the prompter. Normally. It requires a full shutdown before using it or the iPad will never see it. The scrolling text feature I have never seen on the remote EVER. It does not have cue points so you need to use the flakey scroll wheel to try and cue it up. This gets real tricky as you need to be in front of the prompter to to see it, remember is said the scrolling text does not work. You need to see the prompter at all times to adjust timing for your talent so you can see what he is reading because the scrolling text does not work. I have had the most luck using a iPod touch as the remote, every time I try and use the iPhone it never has connected unless I do a full shutdown and restart both devices. Then the iPad see's the iPhone but the icue remote does not see the iPad so it's useless.

There are many nice features in the system. I just wish they had been implemented.
I almost forgot if you are holding this don't swing your are down as it resets the text to the beginning. Quite a shock for your talent.
