Better than the typical resale apps
I’ve used a few different watch marketplace apps and this one feels different in a good way. You’re not just scrolling listings, there’s an actual moment of excitement to it. Ended up pulling a Hamilton i really liked and kept it. The extra shipping fees caught me off guard a little but it was explained clearly enough once i got there.

Actually impressed
Wasn’t sure what to expect going in, the whole mystery box for watches thing sounded like it could be scam honestly. But they show you the odds before you buy which made me trust it a lot more. Opened a 75$ box and pulled something I was happy with. Shipping took about a week and would do it again
Solid experience overall
Bought a box on a whim after seeing it on my feed. The interface is clean, everything is easy to navigate, and the reveal moment is honestly kind of exciting even though i know it’s just an animation. Would recommend to anyone who’s into watches and doesn’t mind a little bit of chance involved
Love the concept
Love the idea, this app works, I’m in Sarasota FL and I’d love to meet whoever made this app, I spent about $5k total and got some really nice watches and came out in positive, if you say this app is a scam you missed the point, it’s all a gamble, I was going to buy a watch anyways and thought it would be fun to get by it like this to let fate decide what I am to wear, it’s like going to the casino you go in knowing that you can lose the money and also that you can win big, so have fun!!!

Unique and well executed
There are a lot of apps that try to do the mystery box thing and most of them feel thrown together. IcyBox doesn’t. The watch focus makes it feel specific and intentional, the UI is clean, and the whole process from picking a box to deciding what to do after feels thought through. Good app.
The reveal never gets old
Been using IcyBox for a while now and the box opening moment still hits the same way it did the first time. There’s something about not knowing exactly what you’re going to get that keeps it exciting. The variety helps too— it doesn’t feel repetitive.
Came for the concept, stayed for the watches
I download IcyBox because the idea seemed interesting, not because i was seriously looking for a watch. Ended up pulling something i actually wear now. The experience is fun but what keeps me coming back is that the watches themselves are worth having. That matters more than anything else.
SCAM. Stay away from this trash
Biggest scam app I have ever used, seen, or even heard of. I blew through $2,000 trying to test out the full functionality and seeing if it does occasionally award something decent and it’s all trash. Icy box for $1,000 gave back $200 or $300 watches at best. The $500 box awarded $200 or $150 watches at best. And don’t even get me started on the cheaper boxes that all give $30 Casios. This is an absolute scam of an app. You’re better off just throwing away all your money than using this app

How cool, I saw this app on social media and as a watch guy who gambles I figured why not. Put in $100 and started with bronze box and after selling back a few pulls I hit a grail.. it showed up today and I still can’t believe this actually happened
Refreshing take
Most watch apps are just buy it now listings. IcyBox is actually different and in a way that makes sense. The reveal moment is fun and I like that you have real choices after. Feels like they thought about what the experience should feel like end to end, which honestly not every app bothers to do.

Just save up and get the watch you want. They throw 22$ watches at you. I pulled 250$ worth of watches and ended with a 22$ watch. But it is gambling at the end of the day.
So Far So Surprising
First let me say in a world of scams and misinformation, I absolutely did not expect much from IcyBox. Honestly, as I downloaded the app, I really expected some exciting advertising lingo and then a requirement to make an upfront payment - which wasn’t the case. So that surprised me at the jump. While I am not really a gambler, I do enjoy gambling in a sense… Like if a family member is about to throw a piece of trash at a garbage can, about 100% of the time I will yell, “bet you a dollar.”When I play slot machines at a casino, for example, I decide how much money I’m going to lose, not win. I only play the slot machines and I only take money I’m prepared to lose. So that’s why I’ve been so surprised with IcyBox because I really considered it like playing the slot machines. The house always wins, so just consider it entertainment. My son and I both joined. My first pull was a $50 box and it landed a $50 Casio which I sold, so I was down five or six dollars with processing. My second pull was on 4 July with my son, so we splurged for the Independence Day box at $250. My son accidentally pressed the wrong box for me (I am superstitious and I always pick the 13th box) and his premature selection resulted in a $250 Apple Watch, which I sold so again, so I was down another six or seven dollars. So then the reattempt, which was my third total pull from IcyBox, resulted in a Tissot valued at over $450 which we kept. Fun memories with my son and a watch I gifted to him and hope he keeps a lifetime.

Card Number Got Stolen!
I never use my debit card and the app had me put it in to make deposits. First, obviously I lost, it’s 100% a scam. THEN MY CARD NUMBER GOT STOLEN. I have no doubt it happened with this app. DO NOT USE
