One of the Best Resources I have found for Tuning Kalimbas
I downloaded this app to try with a small novelty kalimba I bought because some of the other tuners and apps tried had trouble picking up and identifying its notes, but this one worked perfectly!
As another reviewer mentioned, it even provides a play-able virtual kalimba to give you examples of what each note should sound like in the most common standard tuning and tells you if the note is sharp or flat.
It has a “play mode” for the virtual kalimba too, but I haven’t personally messed around with it very much.
Honestly, I’m so satisfied with this app’s performance that I think it will be my go-to for tuning my other kalimbas as well. It really does seem to be tailor made for picking up kalimba notes.

Does exactly what I need it to do! Easy to tune against. If the mic is having trouble picking the note up for some of the shorter keys, try gently resting your other hand on the neighboring keys to stop them from vibrating while you pluck the key you're tuning.
