雑学を英語で

アプリを入れた時は、あまり期待していなかったけど、これはいい！
無料で隙間時間に出来る分量で、ランキングもあって、英語で雑学クイズが出来るアプリで言うことなし。
デザインも洗練されていてとてもいいです♪

とても良いが操作についてひとつ

クイズが一回終わったらトップに戻るのをやめて欲しい
続けて次のクイズに飛べるようせめて1回のタップで選択できるようにして欲しい

若い方向けかな！

画面の絵のタッチや色味、BGMがかなりコテコテのアメリカテイストで、肝心の英語に集中できませんでした…。年齢的なものかもしれません。
中学生の頃にこのアプリがあったらハマったかも！と思います。
作り込みがすごいし、気にならなければ楽しいと思いますので、この世界観が好きな方にはオススメです！

素晴らしい。楽しい

問題のバリエーションが増えるとループしなくてすみます。結構多いですがカテゴリー別だと割とすぐにループしてしまいます。あとはサイエンスカテゴリーが出たらいくらでも課金します。

非常にいいアプリ、だが、、

アプリ起動時のロード画面で固まってしまうことがほとんど。そこさえスムーズに行けばもっと楽しめるのに。

面白いが音声が出なくなる

リスニングの勉強を気軽にできるのはとてもよい。
ただ途中でCM動画が入ると音声が出なくなるため、一度終了しないといけないのが不便。

Thank you for the review! If the level of questions is too difficult you can start with the Honolulu level and work your way up. Also with the FBI option you can study the questions and learn trivia as you learn English.

スキマ時間を有効活用してヒヤリングアップ！

ちょっとしたスキマ時間に、集中して英語の質問を聞いて答えを選ぶだけですが、正解してGreat!と言われると、やった〜とうれしくなりました。ヒヤリングの勉強をしているのに、まるで遊びながら英語を聞くことができたので、これなら、毎日続けていけそうです!

思いの外しっかりとしたクイズ

英語音声、英文、和文の順にクイズが表示されていき、4択から早く答えるほど得点が高い仕様。

肝心のクイズはといえば、大統領の名前を聞かれたかと思えば、明日の次の日は何曜日？なんて聞かれたりして、クイズゲームとしても妙に歯応えがありました。

その為、逆にエンタメやスポーツ等の得意な出題が続くと英語力以上に得点できランキングにのれたりするので、勉強嫌いな自分でもゲーム感覚で(というか完全にゲームとして)楽しめています。

TOEICスコアアップに対して日常的に英語に触れることを課題にしていたので、今の自分にぴったりのアプリでした。

めちゃくちゃいい

英語で英語の問題を出すクイズアプリは色々ありましたが、英語でいわゆる一般常識的なクイズを出すアプリは初めて見ました。
英語の勉強になるのはもちろん、単純にクイズ内容からも学びがあるので一石二鳥ですね笑
最初に音声だけ流れて次に英文→日本語訳の流れもわかりやすくていい。
ランキングやバッジもあるので地味ながらもモチベーションアップになります。

早速1ヶ月プランで遊ばせてもらってますが、ちょーっとだけ気になるのが出題時の効果音ですね。
結構でかい割に鳴った後すぐ問題の読み上げが始まるので、最初の単語が聞きづらいことがしばしば…
できることならあとワンテンポだけ遅らせてから読み上げしてもらえると聞き取りやすいのになーと思います。

Thank you very much for the kind review! Yes, the sound effect at the beginning of questions can be strange at first. We find that after playing for a days you get used to it quickly and don't notice it as much. However, if you don't want to wait, you can lower the sound effect (SE) volume in the Settings menu. That will fix your problem too.

I have recommended this app to my Japanese friends who are studying English and find it to be a lot of fun. Even for myself, it’s always interesting to answer trivia-type questions. What makes this app so special is the freshness and relevance of the question content and the amazing manga-style graphics.
