This app is intended for native Kalmyk speakers and those interested in the Kalmyk language. It includes translations of the Bible into Kalmyk, made in Elista by a team of Bible translation and linguistics specialists from the Institute of Bible Translation. As the translation project progresses and the translations are published, new texts will be added to the app. This online application is an opportunity for in-depth study of Scripture. It contains both the translation itself into Kalmyk, and other translations into Russian and English, which can optionally be connected in parallel. Users can highlight verses in different colors, place bookmarks, write notes, and view the history of readings. The app also includes a short dictionary of key terms, place names and proper names, and maps of biblical places. It is also possible to listen to the audio online.
