There’s a glitch
I had just gotten the missing dial and placed it on the safe and then put the game down for a while. When I came back the dial was missing again, was not in my inventory, and was nowhere to be found. So sadly I can’t finish. Other than that it’s a cute game. Wish there was sound. Hints are in Japanese.
Update: just played again. Didn’t put the game down and was able to finish. Had to close and reopen at first to get sound. Great little game. I also played their other, more recent game and liked that one a lot, too. Five stars.
