Commercials in the app!!!
While other banks (finally) update their apps to look modern, to be functional and translate them into English (yes, there is an English version, but not all elements have been translated), ESUN decided that it will be better to add some ads into their (outdated) app… COMMERCIALS in the banking app - what a surprise.

Typical Taiwan banking app. Making things more complicated than they should. The UI is a bit weird, more like something designed for teenagers.

2020年到2022年一直都能夠輕鬆解款外匯，但今年突然不行，白白浪費了兩次手續費，還造成我很大的困擾，真的糟透了！
Not user friendly at all !!
Just used Face ID to verify for transferring money to someone. The first 2 times when the App tried to scan my face for Face ID verification, it had error and unable to scan my face properly. It also says: if failed 3 times for scanning my face, I will have to go to a branch to unlock!! Which will be a huge problem, as I don’t live in Taiwan but might need to transfer money via the App. If this happens when I am in overseas, this function (face ID to verify me) will be disabled until I attend a branch to have it unlocked!!! So very user unfriendly!!
When the App was trying to scan my face for verification, it didn’t allow enough time for me to place my face right in the middle of the screen or right in the middle of the corner square!! Hence the error showed up twice. When the people were designing the App, did anyone really use this function ??? I don’t think a anyone did, otherwise it would have been corrected.
Anyway, not a happy customer!!
Also, the App doesn’t allow me to use my personal email to verify myself (the bank in overseas allows me to use my personal email to verify online). Again, I don’t live in Taiwan, so don’t have a Taiwanese mobile number to verify myself on the app, so again, very user unfriendly!!

Developers: why do you keep giving the excuse that we can login into the English website online? Yes we know that. But we’re talking about this app here. The language description is fake

我也出現很多人反應的問題，就是明明已經登入，確顯示沒有登入。試過刪除APP，然後重裝APP，仍然有這個問題。
Face ID Login Totally Messed Up
Can’t Login with Face ID goes into infinite loop of continual Face ID logins (and a login email for each time)

there is login issue. Every time you try to login with faceID it shows logging in but after a few seconds it shows you are still not logged in. When you go to another screen to login such as balance. It just get stuck in a loop. Really poor execution of using Face ID for login
Still no English version
You’re falsely stating on the app store page that the app has an English mode, when in fact it is all only in Chinese and nothing is translated anywhere. Your bank supposedly has more international clients and this is ridiculous that other smaller banks’ apps have all gotten English while yours still doesn’t to this day, even after countless feedbacks and your empty promises year after year. If something as basic and relatively low-cost is somehow beyond your consideration that you aren’t even willing to do for the good of the customers, hard to imagine how you treat your customers and how far you’d go for them. It’s embarrassing being an international bank in 2021 and can’t even get their app properly translated. You’re a bank, and you’re too broke to spend some money for the English version?

Cannot login
Cannot paste password from a password manager, and when I manually typed in the password it exceeded the character limit. I thought we should all use long secure password. No problem logging in web.
