Don’t recommend for learners
This is a nice book and an interesting project for the iPad. However if you are learning Japanese this is not a good edition.
The text is presented as graphics. As such you can’t change its size, copy it or highlight it, nor lookup words. It is also a bit more fuzzy than actual type, not as clear as type should be on a retina screen. For these reasons I’d recommend looking for a more normal ebook edition if you want to use this for study.
