Bought the full version after trying the preview.
After trying the free preview for a couple weeks, I felt that this app was worth spending money on for studying Japanese as a second language. Having to remember how to actually write the kanji is a much stronger reinforcement than mere flashcards.

As a foreigner trying to keep the kanji I learned in college classes, these are excellent apps for drilling and learning new kanji without relying on translations or flashcards.
