The best learning Chinese App
When my son was one years old , I already downloaded this App for him to learn Chinese, now he is 9 years old, he still love to study by QiaoBao 1200 ,High recommend to all of my friends. Hopefully you guys keep App for all the kids who need to learn Chinese. Appreciated QiaoBao team ! Well done !
Awful user experience and customer service
If you try to use it abroad, I’d suggest you to move on. The app takes in average more than 10s response to one user click, during which time the UI is unresponsive. Very often had to kill the app to start over again.
Contact the customer service, not helpful at all. The customer service on QQ simply suggest the parent first to click through all the buttons first so that the content can be cached locally, “What an useful hint!” , a brilliant user experience. Suggest them to setup a server in other region, or at least offer a button to download all the content. The customer service said NO and blamed China GreatWall! I wonder if the company behind the app has offered any proper training at all.
So stay away from the app or any other app from the the same developer.

This is for 4-6yo Chinese kids w tiger mamas so perfect for me, an older student with 10 slow years of mandarin. I love the immersion - no English. Love the cheery encouragements, and the certificates.

很少有适合外国人学汉字的好的软件，这个算是比较好的了，要是有一个选项能打乱字的顺序就好了
Great for enhancing reading and writing
This app is great for enhancing your reading and writing skills in Chinese. As a native English speaker I am always on the lookout for something that will further my Chinese learning. My only advice would be to download or buy an English to Chinese dictionary which will help you navigate through this app because it's wholly in Chinese.

Not a free app
Although supposedly a free app, you need to fork up money to see anything more than the first few characters. In addition, there are no English instructions or translations of the characters whatsoever, or the various functons in the program - it seems you just need to guess what the different buttons etc. do.

Why no English?
I found it very frustrating to find that despite the description on iTunes being in English, the program starts in Chinese, and I could not find any way to switch it to English. What is the point of a Chinese character training program where the instructions are in Chinese characters? Also, it appears to be aimed at children, as the (Chinese) voices appear to be children as well. Deleted after about 15 minutes.

Wonderful
Have been searching a useful chinese learning app for my kids. This is definitely one of the best. It gives you pinyin, words from the character. Allow you to listen and write. To me the speech is the best of all apps. My favorite is you can select characters for exercise. Cons: If you are totally foreign to chinese language, this is not for you. It would be nice to have written typeface instead of printed typeface
