No way to end subscription
I’ve used this maybe three times. It doesn’t connect with Apple App Store, so it doesn’t show up on my subscriptions and it’s impossible to end the subscription through the app without calling customer service, which is problematic because I don’t speak Chinese. I feel like I’m being held hostage.

Can't share screenshot to translate from chinese to English
I just switch from android to ios. I am getting screenshot translation problem. When I share the screenshot to baidu translate, it just halted and not shared with baidu translate app. On androind it works fine. But on iphone it doesn't share the screenshot. My request is to solve the problem.

They removed pinyin hahahahaha
When I open the app I have to watch an ad and if I don’t close the ad quickly it opens a different app. Then there is no pinyin so I don’t know what the translation says. Completely useless and deleted after years of use. This is garbage
Used to be the best, now Bloated with useless Chinese ads
This app used to hands down be the best Chinese translation app for English-Chinese within China. It would do my screenshots, voice translate, swipe only a certain area, etc. Recently (past few years) they force you to register with them by handing over all your personal info (not a big deal, but Chinese government likely forces them to mass data collection). But now it’s just bloated with ads. The simple english interface years ago is now loaded up in Chinese so I can’t even figure out how to update my settings. Ads pop up and open 3rd party apps without your permission (Taobao, for example, will open up shortly after you open Baidu Translate). I strongly suggest going with another translator if you are in China. Use this as an absolute last resort if needed due to the unnecessary and intrusive advertising, and handing over your personal information.
