‘Igotomo’ is a Go match result management app developed under the concept of ‘playing Go more smartly’. Whether it’s setting up opening stones, managing your record, reviewing past matches, or finding information on places to play Go—such as Go clubs and community centres—as well as details on Go events, you can do it all smartly via this smartphone app. Main Features of Igo-Tomo - Rating Calculation / Rating Display Play games with your Go friends using an appropriate handicap. After playing a few games, your skill level will be quantified, allowing you to play matches with the correct handicap. If you continue to use Igo-Tomo within your group or amongst members of your Go club, a stable handicap can be calculated, eliminating tedious games where the skill levels are mismatched. - Game Records You can manually enter the results of games you have actually played. You can record when, where, and with whom you played, as well as the number of stones used. Results can also be shared with your opponent. - Go Spots Feature This feature allows you to search on a map for places across Japan where you can play Go, including Go clubs and community centre Go groups. - Go Events Feature This feature allows you to search for Go tournaments and Go-related events across Japan. - Board Image Analysis You can take a photo of the board after a game with your smartphone and upload it. The app will automatically analyse the endgame position. - Game Record Upload The app features a game record upload function (SGF format).
