Wow, so this is the first app I’ve been able to get to work on iOS with Mokuro manga files. Thank you so much for making this!!
(Tip for new users: be sure to follow the instructions on GitHub. But also, make sure your image files have very clean file names. Like 001.jpg, 002.jpg, etc. I had an error until I fixed this.)
I’m still very new to learning Japanese, and one thing that would make this app feel way more usable is if I could change the size of the highlighted selection when looking up words in the dictionary. For the manga I’m reading, sometimes only part of a vocabulary word gets selected, which makes the dictionary lookup inaccurate. I suppose this could be an issue that stems from the Mokuro itself, but it would be amazing if I could resize the selection to correct for this.
I also wish the dictionary view was a little easier to open or close. I sometimes have trouble getting it to slide up and open comfortably. But otherwise this is a really excellent interface. I’m so excited about the Anki integration as well!
