“First Steps in Learning about Childbirth” is an educational serious game that allows users to experience and learn about the childbirth process. This app is the sequel to “First Steps in Learning about Pregnancy.” Through interactive storytelling and mini-games, players can follow the journey from the beginning of labor to childbirth and the start of life with a newborn. Players can learn how childbirth progresses and how medical professionals support mothers during delivery, presented in an easy-to-understand and engaging game format. This app was developed with the cooperation of medical professionals from the Chushin Region Childbirth and Parenting Support Network in Nagano, Japan. It is designed for pregnant women, families, medical and nursing students, and anyone interested in learning about childbirth.
