About

Sense — your companion for independent, dignified navigation. A guidance app built for blind and low-vision people in Saudi Arabia: spoken directions in Arabic (including Saudi dialect), vibrations that tell you which way to go, and an interface that works with VoiceOver. Two modes: • Full Assistant (for blind users) — a black screen; tap and speak: "take me to the nearest pharmacy", "where am I?", "what's around me?" • Low Vision — high-contrast colours, large text and buttons, and a listen button on guidance screens Where Sense guides you: • On the street — the nearest pharmacy, mosque or restaurant, with step-by-step walking directions. In Full Assistant you can also ask for a place by name • Explore around you — nearby places with direction and distance • On the plane — say your seat number and airline, or scan your boarding pass, and Sense counts the rows with you down the aisle • Pilgrimage guide — Umrah and Hajj, the Prophet's Mosque visit, and the al-Baqi' visit Pilgrimage guide: • Automatic Tawaf and Sa'i lap counting with the compass and step counter, time remaining, and easy correction • Narrated adhkar with their sources, at the moments they belong • "Take me to": the Black Stone line, Maqam Ibrahim, Safa and Marwa, the nearest Umrah gate, the nearest exit, the nearest barber, the al-Baqi' entrance • Choose your Tawaf level by distance and usual crowding Also: • "What's in front of me?" — hold the phone at your chest and the iPhone camera warns you with vibration and voice when something is close ahead: most objects at body height on Pro models with LiDAR, common objects such as people, cars and chairs on other iPhones. It does not detect steps or holes, and it supports your cane rather than replacing it • Vibrations at turns and on arrival • Sense's natural voice even with VoiceOver on, with a screen-reader option in Settings Sense — because everyone deserves to move freely.

What's New in سينس

1.1.2

October 11, 2026

• New "What's in front of me?" (وش قدامي؟): point your iPhone's camera ahead and the phone vibrates faster as something gets closer, naming it when it can. On iPhone Pro models, LiDAR also warns you of objects it can't name, from knee to head height. Other iPhones react only to the objects they know, such as people, cars and chairs. It never tells you the way is clear: it supplements your white cane, never replaces it. • The aircraft seat guide in Full Assistant mode is now voice-first: say your seat number and confirm it, name your airline, then tap the screen at each row you pass. Sense counts the rows aloud using the real seat maps of the main Saudia, flynas and flyadeal aircraft, warns you one row before yours, and tells you where your seat is. • Faster, more reliable voice commands: Sense picks up your request about a second after you stop talking instead of making you wait. It opens the microphone only after it has finished speaking, and tells you before asking for microphone permission, and before asking for location when you search for a place. • Clearer, honest guidance: left/right corrections are fixed in the street and in the Haram, and if the internet or your location is unavailable, Sense tells you plainly instead of suggesting places that don't exist. • Tawaf counting now starts from the Black Stone when you press "I'm at the Black Stone now, start counting", so the walk to the Mataf is not counted as a lap, and the count is kept if you move between steps. • Understands more Saudi phrases, such as «وصّلني», «وين وصلت؟», «كم باقي؟» and «وش فيه حولي؟», and dialect numbers when you say your seat.
