About
The app's interface is in Korean only.
Before opening the windows, going for a walk or heading to a campsite, check the current weather and the forecast for a chosen hour this evening for the place you picked, along with basic mosquito-prevention tips on one screen.
Mosquito Weather does not count mosquitoes or score bite risk. It brings together Korea Meteorological Administration weather and general prevention guidance.
Now and a chosen hour, kept apart
- Current observations (temperature, humidity, precipitation type and amount) next to the forecast for the hour you choose
- The next six hours first, and any hour within 24 hours on one screen
- Issue time, target time and query time are shown; old data is labeled as old, and missing data is shown as missing rather than filled from another time or place
Two saved places
- Pick a region by province, city and neighborhood without location permission, or use your current location only when you choose to; only grid coordinates are sent to the weather service
Prevention tips and links
- A summary of general prevention guidance from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency with a link to the source
- For Seoul, a link to the Seoul city mosquito forecast web page (May to October)
Bite log
- Date, body area, itchiness and a note, stored only on this device
Notes
- Weather data: Korea Meteorological Administration (Public Data Portal)
- Weather reference only. It does not forecast mosquito numbers or bite or infection risk and is not medical advice
- No account, no ads, no tracking

What's New in 모기 날씨
1.1.0
October 24, 2026
Ads and ad tracking requests removed. Current observations and the forecast for a chosen hour are shown separately; pick any hour within 24 hours. Choose regions directly and save two places. Your bite log and reminder setting carry over. The unverified in-app mosquito index and 7-day mosquito forecast were removed in favor of official weather and basic prevention tips.
