Outrageously expensive
My daughter tried the Y2 course. The content and interactive activities seemed good and suitable for her level. However, the price is unacceptable: the regular price is RMB 2,899, and even the supposedly discounted price is RMB 1,999—for only one level and one year of access.
The course provides approximately 15 minutes of learning per day, five days per week. With about 240 lessons, that adds up to only around 60 hours for the entire year. Nearly RMB 2,000 is far too expensive for prerecorded and AI-based lessons. Other children’s English apps offer lifetime memberships for only a few hundred RMB while also providing extensive courses, phonics, picture books and animated content.
